Mapping And Clustering Analysis On Coronavirus Literature In China: A Bibliometric Analysis During 2011-2020, Mohd Akhter

The present study is first of its kind as it attempts to ascertain publications output on coronavirus as reflected in Scopus database from the Chinese perspective. The most productive contributors, institutions, journals and core subjects in coronavirus publications are identified in this study. The highly cited articles on coronavirus are also identified. The VOS-viewer software is used to identify the collaborative network of authors, countries and occurrence of keywords. During 2011-2020 a total of 1331 publications were published in this field. The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic has led to the publication of many scientific papers. The goal of the present research was to analyze these papers using the Altmetric Attention Score (AAS). Statistics for 100 publications with high AAS scores were selected and exported from the Dimension database on May 22^nd 2020. The major findings were that these publications were published in 34 different journals or preprint repositories. This paper analyses the 239 publications with more than 1000 citations indexed in SCI-Expanded of Web of Science under research area plant sciences. These publications have been written by 600 authors and from 224 institutes and universities across the world. There are 52 periodicals with impact factor ranging from 0.687-18.918 which published these articles. The most number of highly cited articles were published in Annual Review of Plant Physiology And Plant Molecular Biology (34). Authorship pattern indicates that 25 % of highly cited publications (61) have been written by single author. Two author publications is most prevalent with 90 publications. …

This paper focuses on Meng Zi’s idea of yi (義) as a virtue. In it, I first briefly examine two influential interpretations of yi – the “appropriateness” approach that views yi as a disposition to do what is fitting in a given situation and the shame-centered approach that understands yi as a disposition to avoid what is shameful in the moral life. Both early and later forms of Buddhism developed a set of arguments to demonstrate that the self is an illusion. This article begins with a brief review of some of the arguments but then proceeds to show that these arguments are not themselves sufficient to dispel the illusion. It analyzes three ways in which the illusion of self manifests itself – as wish fulfillment, as a cognitive illusion, and as a phenomenal illusion (what might be called the “I” sense).
