The purpose of this work is to do an exploratory descriptive analysis of topics included in Artificial Intelligence (AI) electronic library guides of academic libraries. AI library guides from members of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) are chosen for selection. Of the 48 libraries randomly selected, 25 have AI guides. Data collected was subject to a content analysis process which included the use of terms co-occurrence using the VOSviewer software. The results show three clusters of terms, which are complemented with the discussion of materials found in the guides.

This study investigated the preservation practices selected teacher colleges of education libraries in Ghana. The study examined the existence of preservation policies in the teacher college libraries, preservation techniques in place, level of training given to library staff on preservation and barriers to effective preservation of information resources in the teacher college libraries. The study explores the ICT usage and computer skills of Library and Information Science (LIS) students in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main objective of the study is to assess the potentials and challenges faced by LIS students in e-learning. The researchers used survey method with a structured questionnaire, involving 209 participants from two leading public universities (University of Dhaka (DU) and Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) in Bangladesh. Developmental goals aiming at inclusive education for all category of children irrespective of their disability is still at variance with the present situation of children with intellectual disorder who presents a deficit in intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviour. This article seeks to broaden the discussion of the factors involved. It does so for several reasons. The study sought to examine the influence of leadership styles and staff motivation on job satisfaction in private university libraries in Osun State, Nigeria. The descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings revealed that leadership styles and Staff motivation are predictors of job satisfaction of library staff. There was a high level of job satisfaction among library personnel due to the democratic leadership styles that were predominant. Most of the library staff were highly motivated with a higher level of intrinsic motivation than extrinsic motivation. The study concludes that leadership …

The study assessed the role of Telecentres in the dissemination of agro-based information among selected farmers in rural areas of Tanzania. A cross-sectional study design was conducted in Moshi Rural District, in Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. A total of 442 rural farmers aged 21-60 years were randomly selected as study respondents. Questionnaires were used to collect data from respondents. The study found that 205 (55%) respondents were not aware of the existence and services offered among Telecentres, whereas only 12 (7%) respondents reported visiting Telecentres once per day, and 70 (41%) once per year. The universities include Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and the University of Jos. Journalists search, access, and make use of a variety of information sources, both in print and electronic media. Journalists have been increasingly reliant on internet tools in recent years. An attempt has been made through the study to identify the information-seeking behaviour of journalist working in 39 newspapers at the national, state, as well as regional levels. During the early months of 2020, the rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) had a significant impact on the homeless population. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Community Planning and Development defines a homeless person as someone who "lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence" (Henry, et al., 2020, page 2). According to a report conducted by Culhane et al. (2020), the homeless population has a higher chance of being infected by COVID-19 than the general population. The entire San Francisco Bay was once a navigable waterway in the 1850s during the Gold Rush era. Large amounts of sediment from upstream erosion and mining flowed to the bay resulting in the downsizing of the bay’s square miles (Environmental Protection Agency, 2022). As a result of intense development on the bay shores and adjacent lands, the bay faces several challenges that affect its water quality and threatens aquatic ecosystems.
