How To Prepare Meaningful Crash Analysis, Taylor Ruble
How To Prepare Meaningful Crash Analysis, Taylor Ruble
Purdue Road School
Many people outside of traffic engineering are required to conduct a crash history analysis as part of their scoping efforts for non-safety funded projects. Some engineers may not have much experience working with crash data or may not know how best to manipulate it to arrive at meaningful results. Using real-world examples, this presentation will walk through each step in requesting, filtering, diagramming, and interpreting crash data.

So, You Want To Build A Hangar?, Carla M. Fischer
So, You Want To Build A Hangar?, Carla M. Fischer
Purdue Road School
Driven by corporate growth, companies are buying, maintaining, and piloting their own fleets of planes. Companies need a place to store and care for these multi-million-dollar assets, so the demand for corporate hangars is growing. But hangars aren’t like other commercial buildings; they have distinctive features from other structures. This presentation will address how clients need to work with aviation designers to educate themselves on the distinct characteristics of hangars and construction in an airport environment.

Reducing Construction Change Orders With 3d Cim Technology, John Langmaid, Aaron Bubb, Sammy Van Pelt
Purdue Road School
As long as 2D paper plans are the construction contract document, 3D Civil Information Management (CIM) technology will improve bid-ability, constructability, and overall plan quality. The CIM process leverages modeling technology to reverse engineer 2D plans and build the project electronically prior to letting. Used with engineering best practices, CIM identifies plan errors, conflicts, and other challenges which ultimately reduce construction change orders. Featured projects will include I-69 in Bloomington and the Ohio River Bridges.

Reductions in hemoglobin A1c (HbA1C) have been associated with improved cardiovascular outcomes and savings in medical expenditures. One public health approach has involved pharmacists within primary care settings. The objective was to assess change in HbA1C from baseline after 3–5 months of follow up in pharmacist-managed cardiovascular risk reduction (CVRR) clinics.
Methods
This retrospective cohort chart review occurred in eight pharmacist-managed CVRR federally qualified health clinics (FQHC) in Indiana, United States. Data were collected from patients seen by a CVRR pharmacist within the timeframe of January 1, 2015 through February 28, 2020. Data collected include: demographic characteristics and clinical …
