Darden. The left edge of the receipt names the newspaper and notifies the price of the subscription at four dollars per annum, payable in advance. The text describes "Job work neatly and expeditiously executed." There is some light water and mildew damage on the left end of the receipt and the right edge of the receipt is ripped.

He continues by describing his visit to the Catholic Church located near Jackson Square and concludes by explaining the plans for the rest of the trip.
