Cord Asendorf, a prominent Savannahian and German immigrant, will long be remembered for his Victorian house at 1921 Bull Street. Cord, who became successful in the grocery business was also very ingenious in his real estate dealings.

Hyman Wallace Witcover was born in Darlington, S.C. on July 16, 1871. At a young age-in 1888-Witcover began a lengthy tenure as a draftsmen for Savannah Architect A. S. Eichberg. In 1900 became himself an architect. Some of his more notable works in Savannah include the Savannah City Hall, the Public Library, Sacred Heart Church, the National Bank Building and the Scottish Rite Temple at Bull and Charlton Streets. A Biography Of Alexander Harris (1818-1909), Maureen O'Brien
Savannah Biographies
Alexander Harris lived from 1818 until 1909. He was born to a Free Black family. He lived most of his life in the same house on Williams Street;. He was married and had three children. He was employed as a dreyman, a musician, a soldier, and a Pastor. His appointment to the ministry almost split his church. He served at this post until his death. During his term as Pastor, he was instrumental in developing various social and civic groups in the lively Free Black community in Savannah.

Reactions To Approach Distance In Overweight And Normal Weight College Females, Ruth Ann Neill Rogers

From a large number of college students two groups of white female volunteers were selected on the basis of their reported height and weight: an overweight group (N^ = 28), consisting of persons at least +11% overweight, and a normal weight group (N^ = 25) consisting of persons within + 5% of normal weight. Heart rate was monitored for a six minute baseline period and a one minute period during which each person was approached by a confed¬ erate to a distance of 30.48 cm, 60.69 cm, or 99.06 cm.
