A Monstrous [Un]-Becoming: Defining The Final Boy, Rhys Crumpton

Through an exploration of horror theory, monster theory, queer theory, and disabilities studies, this thesis defines a 21st century archetype within the serial horror narrative, known as “the Final Boy.” This character is a manifestation of a queer, often neurodivergent man in peril at the hands of a monstrous society. This harmful socionormativity is narratively represented by a monster wearing the face of a man, one whom the Final Boy must subdue and overcome if he wishes to survive. Synthesis And Assessment Of Biobased Acrylated Epoxidized Soybean Oil Resins For Stereolithography 3d Printing Of Microfluidic Devices, Natalie S. Romero Figueroa

This research focuses on the development and characterization of a biobased photocurable resin synthesized from soybean oil for use in stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing of microfluidic devices. The study explores a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based resins by performing an acrylation reaction on epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) to produce acrylated epoxidized soybean oil (AESO), which was then formulated into a photocurable resin with the addition of a photo initiator. The fabrication process involved designing microfluidic molds in SolidWorks and printing them using an Elegoo Mars 4 SLA printer under various exposure and layer thickness parameters. The benefits associated with the application of ductile irons are significantly attributed to the control of microstructures, with refinement of austenitic matrix during solidification playing a significant role. Nickel alloyed ductile irons are attractive due to their potential for high ductility and suitability for potential high-temperature applications with stable austenitic microstructure. Refinement of austenite grain structure is thus important to enhance the mechanical properties of the alloyed ductile iron. This research investigates the impact of in-mold additions of different alloying elements on the austenite morphology and grain refinement of nickel-alloyed ductile iron along with the associated mechanical properties. This collection consists of three photograph albums documenting Rubie K. Lee's work with the Methodist Church’s Women's Missionary Council (WMC) in Korea from the 1920s through the early 1930s. The photographs depict Korea under Japanese rule, showcasing its people and landscapes. Albums also contains photographs of the Ogeechee River flood of 1929, as well as an extensive collection of color postcards from Lee’s travels to Korea, Japan and China.

The development of automated warehouse systems has been driven by advancements in computing, communication, and control technologies. However, throughput models and guidelines often lag behind industrial implementation. This paper analyzes the historical progression of automated warehouse systems, highlighting the decades-long gap between system realization and model development. By classifying storage technologies and tracing their evolution, we emphasize the need for systematic methodologies to accelerate throughput modeling, ensuring that performance evaluation keeps pace with innovation in warehouse automation.
