This paper was written to set forth a philosophy of physical education, aims and objectives, facilities and eequipment, regulations, plans of instruction, grades and ideas concerned with setting up a realistic physical education curriculum for boys in a small high school--that being one with an enrollment of less than three hundred. such a school is not always, but frequently, a consolidated unit in a rural area. Because of its smallness, the number of faculty is small. In such a limited teacher situation, the school class schedule results in the phfs1cal education instructor teaching all physical education courses and possible other …
