Background: Stroke is a major global public health burden. Ischemic stroke is the most common type of all stroke cases worldwide. Antiplatelet therapy is a key strategy for secondary prevention in patients with stroke and transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) without cardioembolic stroke. Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with clopidogrel is recommended in patients with early mild stroke or high-risk TIA, followed by long-term single antiplatelet therapy (SAPT). Clopidogrel is often used as an alternative for patients with aspirin resistance or intolerance. However, clopidogrel is a prodrug metabolized by the CYP2C19 enzyme, leading to variability in its effectiveness.

Severe cutaneous adverse reactions (SCARs) are life-threatening drug hypersensitivity reactions, including acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS), Stevens–Johnson syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN). SCARs occur in approximately 0.1% of hospitalizations and have mortality rates ranging from 5% for AGEP to 5–35% for SJS/TEN. AGEP typically presents with acute erythematous areas, sterile pustules, fever, and neutrophilia within 48–72 h of drug exposure. In contrast, DRESS manifests as fever, facial edema, morbilliform rash, and exfoliative dermatitis, often accompanied by hematologic abnormalities and multi-organ involvement, including hepatitis, pneumonitis, and myocarditis. Background: Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (ω-3 PUFAs), particularly eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are attributed with the capacity to prevent cardiovascular diseases (CVD), chronic inflammation, and neurodegenerative diseases. Their bioactive contribution consists on interfering with lipid metabolism, decreasing inflammation, and increasing neuroprotection. Still, the findings imply that there is a considerable need for greater clarification of their mechanisms and their application to clinical care.

The sample consisted of 280 assistant teachers and level-one professional teachers in schools under the Bangkok Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC). This study examined the impact of blended learning on the self-directed learning and academic achievement of the first-year nursing students studying metabolic biochemistry. This quasi-experiment research recruited 150 first-year nursing students at one of the nursing college. A blended learning intervention, combining face-to-face instruction and various online activities, was implemented. Data were collected using a self-directed learning scale, pretest and posttest, and a final exam. Results indicated that blended learning significantly enhanced students' self-directed learning (t = -2.847, p = 0.005) and academic performance. This research article studied the portrayal of husbands and wives in Russian proverbs to analyze the thoughts and beliefs of Russians on gender roles from Christian perspectives and the concept of hegemonic masculinity. Data was collected from Vladimir Dal’s “Proverbs of the Russian People” (1879), one of the largest collections of Russian proverbs. The literature indicates that Russian proverbs tend to be misogynistic, reflecting societal domination by hegemonic masculinity. In this study, we retrospectively isolated and characterized IAVs (n=8) from oropharyngeal and cloacal swab samples of free-grazing ducks collected during December 2018 to December 2021, by using egg inoculation and whole-genome sequencing. The IAVs could be subtyped as IAV-H4N2 (n = 3) and IAV-H4N8 (n = 5) using real-time RT-PCR assays. Genetic and phylogenetic analyses revealed that all eight genes of Thai IAV-H4 belong to the Avian Eurasian lineage. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence, virulence genes and antimicrobial resistance of Streptococcus suis from pigs in Upper-Northern Thailand. A total of 768 nasal swabs were obtained from pigs at the municipal slaughterhouses in five provinces including Phayao (n=202), Nan (n=190), Chiang Rai (180), Chiang Mai (n=130), and Mae Hong Son (n=66) in 2018-2019. The prevalence of S. suis varied from 3.0%-9.4%, of which the highest prevalence was in Chiang Rai (9.4%) and Mae Hong Son (9.1%). Polyneuropathy, a condition affecting the peripheral nervous system, often results in sensory and motor dysfunction in older adults. Treatment options include medications and various physical therapy modalities including Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation (PMS). However, evidence supported treating nerve dysfunction with PMS is limited. In this case, an 84-year-old male with a history of diabetes mellitus and osteoarthritis presented with bilateral lower extremity sensory and motor polyneuropathy, experiencing weakness, sensory deficits, and gait instability.
