Background: In endemic countries, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) is an important zoonotic disease with significant public health implications. Previous studies in Iran suggests that CCHF poses a significant health risk to slaughterhouse workers and butchers. The main objecive of this study was to investigate the knowledge, attitude, and practice of butchers regarding CCHF at their workplace in an endemic area in southeastern Iran.

Therefore, this study compares RT and simultaneous tympanic membrane temperature (TMT) in cats. Eighty-one cats were included in the study. A digital thermometer and a human auricular infrared thermometer were used for RT and TMT measurements. RT measurement was conducted first, followed immediately by TMT measurements of the both ears. This study investigated the biofilm (BF) formation of a bovine-derived Escherichia coli (E. coli) strain (designated DL1907) and analyzed the factors influencing its formation. The BF-forming capacity, optimal formation time and temperature, as well as the effects of different culture media, pH levels, NaCl concentrations, and glucose concentrations, were assessed using the crystal violet method. The results demonstrated that the strain had a strong BF-forming capacity, achieving the most intact BF structure after 36 h of culture at 37°C. Cryptosporidium spp. is the most frequent agent in Algeria that causes neonatal diarrhea in calves, with high symptomatic diarrhea in pre-weaned dairy calves. The study aims to measure the prevalence, distribution, and genotype of Cryptosporidium-infected calves in one of Algeria's high milk production areas (North Central and Northeast). From 35 dairy cattle farms were selected 172 (77 with diarrheic and 95 without diarrheic symptoms) calves aged less than 60 days. Twenty-three farms (65.71%) were detected with cryptosporidiosis using a modified Ziehl-Neelsen stain, whereby 68 calves (39.53%) were obtained positive. The study assessed milk production performance of local cows, milk handling practices, physicochemical properties, and milk production constraints in Kucha District, Southern Ethiopia. A purposive and random sampling technique was employed to select 138 respondents for the interview. For physicochemical property assessment, milk samples were collected from 90 interviewed households. Majorities (76.7%) of the respondents were males, and the average family size was 6.82±0.25. Background: This study examines the social construction of sexual orientation among adolescents, particularly non-heterosexual, in Daerah Khusus Ibukota (DKI) Jakarta, Indonesia. Currently, non-heterosexual adolescents tend to recognize their sexual attraction earlier than previous generations.

Methods: A mixed methods approach was used. We conducted in-depth interviews with foundations focused on HIV/AIDS management and groups with non-heterosexual orientations. For the quantitative portion, 267 adolescents (89 non-heterosexual and 178 heterosexual) completed a validated questionnaire. Background: Buddhist monks are considered a vulnerable population in terms of health; however, their health-seeking behaviors (HSB), and associated factors remain underexplored in Thailand. This study aims to investigate HSB and its determinants among Thai Buddhist Monk.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between February and March 2023 using a self-administered questionnaire. Stratified random sampling was applied. The questionnaire was based on an established HSB model. Multinomial logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with HSB across different levels of illness severity.

Background: Treatment adherence in tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia. In West Kalimantan, high treatment interruption rates are driven by geographic, socioeconomic, and healthcare factors. This study identifies the risk factors linked to treatment interruption in the province.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study was using the System Information of Tuberculosis (SITB) database from 2019 to 2022 (n = 12,052). We used Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox regression to identify treatment interruption risk factors, considering patient characteristics and geographic disparities.

Background: Workplace mental health is a growing concern in higher education, especially in open and distance learning (ODL) settings, where staff face unique stressors. This study examines the mental health and counseling needs of academic and support staff at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (STOU), Thailand, using a biopsychosocial lens.

Methods: An explanatory sequential mixed-methods design was used. In the quantitative phase, 332 staff completed a questionnaire on mental health and biopsychosocial factors.
