A six-year-old female French Bulldog was referred for neurological diagnostic tests and treatment for progressive paraparesis over an 8-day period. The dog had a history of intervertebral disc extrusion (IVDE) surgical correction two years prior. Neurological examination revealed T3–L3 myelopathy. Magnetic resonance imaging of the thoracolumbar spine confirmed IVDE with spinal cord compression at T13–L1. A minimally invasive percutaneous endoscopic foraminotomy and discectomy (PEFD) was performed to remove the extruded disc material. The patient regained the ability to stand and showed voluntary limb movement 48 hours post-surgery. At the 4-week follow-up, the patient showed a complete recovery to her baseline …

This study aimed to fabricate acemannan/alginate (ACE/ALG) composite hydrogels and evaluate their cytocompatibility and ability to support STO cell spreading and metabolic activity. Composite hydrogels were prepared by blending different concentrations of ACE with alginate, followed by Ca²⁺-mediated ionic crosslinking. The reproductive anatomy of rare cervid species remains insufficiently documented, limiting comparative studies and preservation efforts. This study describes the anatomical details in the female reproductive organs of Thamin Eld’s deer (Rucervus eldii thamin) and Fea’s muntjac (Muntiacus feae), while the application of a modified glycerin impregnation technique was achieved for specimen preservation. This paper reports a case of feline cholangiocarcinoma, a relatively rare condition in veterinary clinical practice. A 4-year-old female British Shorthair cat was presented with a 10-day history of anorexia and lethargy. An irregularly shaped mass was palpable on abdominal palpation. Diagnostic imaging and serum biochemical findings indicated extrahepatic biliary obstruction, and the diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma was confirmed by histopathology and immunohistochemistry. Preoperative imaging in this cat indicated that the mass had not invaded major blood vessels such as the portal vein, and no evidence of distant metastasis was detected. This study aimed to assess the resistance status of Eimeria spp. in Vietnam to diclazuril and amprolium and to evaluate their effects on intestinal recovery following infection. One hundred 12-day-old chicks were randomly allotted to four groups: a non-infected negative control (NC), an infected untreated as positive control (PC), an infected group treated with diclazuril (DI), and an infected group treated with amprolium (AM). Background: Vitamin D, a fat-soluble prohormone, is essential for skeletal health and plays a key role in immune regulation. Deficiency is common among pregnant and lactating women, raising concerns as fetal and neonatal vitamin D status relies entirely on maternal stores.
