This preliminary study focused on the use of animation to reduce anxiety among pediatric cancer patients undergoing venipuncture in the hospital. It was conducted on 30 pediatric cancer patients aged 5-9 years. The Pretest- Posttest study method was applied in which the level of anxiety was measured before and after viewing the film and then it was analyzed to determine whether the animation could help relieve anxiety in the study population. This research's aim is to experiment with acrylic plates in the four Intaglio Printmaking processes of Drypoint, Hard Ground, Soft Ground and Aquatint as an alternative to the normally used copper plates, which are more expensive and must be purchased from a specialized vendor, and its processes involve the usage of chemicals that may affect health. Experiments in this research show that using acrylic plates with alternative processes can reduce intricate workflows, reduce workspace and costs involved, since this process requires less equipment and materials to be used, and more importantly reduce chemical consumption. This study explores and reflects on the potential of global commercial application of indigenous West African fabric design in the middle to high-end interior textiles and surfaces. The study adopts design theory which encourages innovation and creativity in concepts for effective solutions. Rasulan is a tradition in Java; it's one form of Javanese Slametan (a ritual meal). This research aims to describe the Rasulan, explains the role of the worldview and how the elements of culture, religion and the spirit of the nationality are compromised and changed therein. This research is a mix of library and field studies, utilizing the theory of worldview. Results show that Rasulan is not a religious tradition, but a harvest celebration, taking the form of gratitude in the agrarian society. This art activities program was designed to enhance the aesthetics, mood, cognition, and quality of life (QoL) of elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The control group was given a single session of MCI knowledge, whereas the intervention group attended weekly art activities, based on visual thinking strategies, combined with cognitive development of aesthetic experience and contemplative arts for six weeks. There was no difference between the Thai Geriatric Depressive Scale (TGDS) scores or Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores between the two groups. The purpose of this paper is to discuss contemporary perspectives of street art by examining its influence on urban society and culture. Its research aims to understand social perceptions and awareness towards graffiti art, and how graffiti artists develop a youth subculture through building relationships between street art and the targeted audiences for graffiti. Primary research included interviews with Malaysian graffiti artists. Findings suggest that graffiti art in Malaysia is increasingly accepted as modern representation of cultural idealism through appropriation of local inspirational elements. Microplastics are synthetic polymer particles with a length of 5 mm or less with no well-defined lower boundary. These debris particles are known to affect marine and aquatic organisms which poses a threat to biodiversity and marine resources. In this study, the isolated microplastic from the coastal and lagoon surface waters of Sitio Pulo is described. Sitio Pulo is a barrier island mangrove sanctuary located at Brgy. Tanza I, Navotas City surrounded by Manila Bay. The samples collected last July 4 and 25, 2019, were isolated, profiled, and analyzed. Roof gardening is popular for increasing green space in cities due to the restricted urban areas. However, when watering plants on a roof garden, one should consider loading capacity of the roof, which may limit water supply to the plants therein. The river water quality index (RWQI) of the upper Ganga canal has been computed to assess the effect of lockdown and unlock phases lead down by COVID-19 in India. Geospatial distribution of RWQI from January 2019 to December 2021 in the study area revealed significant impacts of lockdown on water quality. However, unlock phases (post lockdown) have deteriorated water quality since August 2020 and reached to actual conditions of the river by August 2021. To evaluate the lockdown as a management strategy to clean the river, other factors were reviewed including rainfall data, migration, and other activities. The results revealed …

This research had the following objectives: 1) To explore the situation of Chinese students in Thailand; and 2) To study the motivations of Chinese students to study in Thailand. This research was a qualitative study. Data were collected through a literature review, focus group discussions, and interviews. The study found that, in 2020, there were 14,423 Chinese students studying higher education in Thailand. Most were from the southern China, but students from other parts of China are also appearing in greater numbers. There are many reasons why Chinese students choose to study abroad. This study has combined historical and anthropological methodologies. Historical process analysis has incorporated and analyzed historical documents, both primary and secondary sources. Anthropological study has been employed in field work, through observation, survey and interview. The study classifies the migration wave of Chinese to Mueang Ubon, into two periods as related to their cultural heritage. The first period was between 1780 and 1868 A.D. and the second between 1868 and 1918 A.D., both of which underlined the importance of the Chinese diaspora in bringing their various ways of life to the town. Soybean is a nutritious and popular material in the Vietnamese food industry. Soybean processing wastewater contains a significant amount of organic compounds, which have a negative impact on aquatic life due to light penetration and oxygen consumption limitations. Therefore, this study was carried out to determine whether the combination of activated sludge and a constructed wetland using VA06 grass could be effective in treating soybean wastewater. Various amounts of activated sludge were investigated. วัตถุประสงค์: ผู้ป่วยโรคกรดไหลย้อนบางราย แม้จะได้รับการรักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดมาตรฐาน ก็ยังมีอาการของกรดไหลย้อนตอนกลางคืน ซึ่งงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของการนอนยกศีรษะสูงโดยใช้หมอนรูปลิ่มร่วมไปกับการรักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดมาตรฐาน กับการรักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดสองเท่าวันละสองเวลาในการรักษาผู้ป่วยโรคกรดไหลย้อนที่มีอาการตอนกลางคืน รวมถึงเพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของการใช้หมอนรูปลิ่ม วิธีการวิจัย: ผู้วิจัยคัดเลือกผู้ป่วยที่ยังมีอาการของกรดไหลย้อนตอนกลางคืนมากกว่าหรือเท่ากับ 2 ครั้งต่อสัปดาห์ แม้จะได้รับยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดมาตรฐานมาแล้วอย่างน้อย 4 สัปดาห์ โดยมีเกณฑ์ในการคัดเลือกผู้ป่วยออกจากโครงการวิจัย เช่น ผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะอุดกั้นหายใจขณะหลับอย่างรุนแรง โรคอ้วน มีความผิดปกติของโรคของการทำงานของหลอดอาหารที่ผิดปกติรุนแรง หลังจากนั้นจะสุ่มผู้เข้าวิจัยเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มที่รักษาด้วยการนอนยกศีรษะสูงโดยใช้หมอนรูปลิ่มขนาดความสูง 20 เซนติเมตรร่วมไปกับการรักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดมาตรฐาน (กลุ่ม wedge pillow) กับกลุ่มที่รักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดสองเท่าวันละสองเวลา (กลุ่ม twice-daily PPI) เป็นระยะเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ เพื่อศึกษาผลของการรักษาต่ออาการกรดไหลย้อนตอนกลางคืน โดยประเมินจากแบบสอบถาม NGSSIQ ที่สัปดาห์ 0, 2 และ 4 รวมทั้งผลของการรักษาต่อคุณภาพชีวิตและคุณภาพการนอนหลับ นอกจากนี้ยังประเมิน parameter จากการวัดค่าความเป็นกรดในหลอดอาหารและกระเพาะอาหาร 24 ชั่วโมงที่สัปดาห์เริ่มต้นและสัปดาห์ที่ 4 โดยใช้ electronic pressure sensor timekeeper ในการตรวจ compliance ของอาสาสมัคร และเพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของการใช้หมอนรูปลิ่ม ซึ่งจะประเมินจาก GPE scale ผลการศึกษา: ผู้ป่วยเข้าร่วมโครงการวิจัยมีทั้งหมด 24 ราย (ชาย:หญิง 7:17, อายุเฉลี่ย 57±13 ปี) ผลการศึกษาพบว่าทั้งสองกลุ่มมีระดับคะแนน NGSSIQ ลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ณ สัปดาห์ที่ 2 และ 4 เมื่อเทียบกับค่าเริ่มต้น (p<0.05) ) แต่ไม่พบความแตกต่างกันของคะแนน NGSSIQ ที่สัปดาห์ที่ 4 ระหว่างสองกลุ่ม เมื่อสิ้นสุดสัปดาห์ที่ 4 พบว่า ในกลุ่ม wedge pillow มีประสิทธิภาพในการเพิ่มคุณภาพการนอนหลับและช่วยลดระยะเวลาในการเคลื่อน ลงของอาหารในหลอดอาหาร (bolus contact time) ในเวลากลางคืนได้ดีกว่ากลุ่ม twice-daily PPI อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ และ โดยผู้ป่วยจำนวน 10 จาก 12 รายในกลุ่ม wedge pillow (ร้อยละ 83.3) รู้สึกพึงพอใจต่อหมอนรูปลิ่ม สรุปผล: การรักษาทั้ง 2 วิธีต่างก็มีประสิทธิภาพในการลดอาการกรดไหลย้อนตอนกลางคืนได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญไม่แตกต่างกัน แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม วิธีการนอนยกศีรษะสูงโดยใช้หมอนรูปลิ่มร่วมไปกับการรักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดมาตรฐานก่อนอาหารเช้า มีประสิทธิภาพในการเพิ่มคุณภาพการ นอนหลับ และการลด bolus contact time ในเวลากลางคืนดีกว่าวิธีการรักษาด้วยยายับยั้งโปรตอนปั๊มขนาดสองเท่าวันละสองเวลา นอกจากนี้อาสาสมัครมี ความพึงพอใจต่อการนอนยกศีรษะสูงโดยใช้หมอนรูปลิ่ม และยินดีที่จะใช้หมอนนี้ในระยะยาว ดังนั้นการนอนยกศีรษะสูงโดยใช้หมอนรูปลิ่มจึงสามารถใช้เป็น ตัวเลือกในการรักษาผู้ป่วยโรคกรดไหลย้อนที่มีอาการตอนกลางคืน

Understanding the spatial distribution characteristics of MPs is crucial for developing effective mitigation strategies. This in vitro study aimed to investigate the effect of different chromium metal alloys on enamel wear through longitudinal observation across various simulated chewing cycles. Four groups of alloys were studied (n=10 per group): casting Ni-Cr alloys (NC), casting Co-Cr alloys (CC), SLM Co-Cr alloys (CS), and heat-treated SLM Co-Cr alloys (CS-H). The test simulated chewing of enamel cusps against the alloys in distilled water under specific conditions (49 N load, 0.7 mm sliding movement, and 1.6 Hz frequency). The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted public transportation, causing a substantial decline in bus passengers. In 2021, Bangkok witnessed a 40-60% reduction compared to normal conditions, while Jakarta experienced a staggering 76% decline compared to June 2019. This study aims to assess passengers' intentions to use buses during the pandemic and analyze factors influencing mode choice. Two methodologies were employed: the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to identify factors impacting transportation intentions and the Hybrid Choice Model (HCM) to understand mode choice influencers. This study delves into traditional food products, handicrafts, and cultural goods, examining their factors and significance in Tumpat, Kelantan. Employing semi-structured interviews with local entrepreneurs and inductive content analysis, the research identifies two main categories: factors influencing business initiation and the significance of a clustered pattern in culture-based enterprises.
