Background: Initial treatment options for Graves’ disease are radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment, antithyroid drugs (ATDs), and surgery. RAI is effective and the definitive treatment for Graves’ disease.

Objective: To evaluate factors associated with success in the first RAI treatment for Graves’ disease.

Methods: A total of 89 patients who received the first RAI treatment for Graves’ disease between September 2016 and January 2021 were retrospectively reviewed. Thyroid function outcome was evaluated within one year after RAI treatment. Logistic regression analysis was performed to identify factors associated with success after RAI treatment.

This study assessed the impact of employment on self-rated depression among older persons in Thailand using a matched sample obtained from a propensity score matching method.

บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤฒพลังด้านการทำงานของผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความต้องการทำงานของผู้สูงอายุไทยที่มีสุขภาพดี คณะผู้วิจัยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากโครงการการสำรวจขนาดใหญ่ เรื่อง “การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางประชากรและความอยู่ดีมีสุขในบริบทสังคมสูงวัย” โดยวิทยาลัยประชากรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (2559) ในส่วนของพฤฒพลังด้านการทำงาน คณะผู้วิจัยพบข้อสรุปที่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ดังนี้ (1) ประมาณ 1 ใน 4 ของผู้สูงอายุที่มีความต้องการทำงานยังคงไม่ได้ทำงาน (2) ผู้สูงอายุเพศชายมีความต้องการทำงานมากกว่าผู้สูงอายุเพศหญิง และ (3) ผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพดีมีความต้องการทำงานมากกว่าผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพต่ำกว่า ระดับดี ทั้งนี้ จากผลการวิเคราะห์ความต้องการทำงานของผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพดีโดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์การถดถอย โลจิสติกแบบไบนารี พบว่ามีตัวแปรที่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05) ได้แก่ อายุ เพศ ระดับการศึกษา สถานภาพสมรส ความเพียงพอของรายได้ การดูแลสมาชิกในครอบครัว และภูมิภาคที่อยู่อาศัย อย่างไรก็ตาม ในอนาคตควรมีนโยบายที่ส่งเสริมการทำงานของผู้สูงอายุโดยควรยกระดับการศึกษาและการฝึกอบรมทักษะก่อนการเกษียณอายุเพื่อลดช่องว่างความต้องการทำงานที่ไม่ได้รับการตอบสนองของผู้สูงอายุไทย

บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการสะสมทักษะชีวิตในสังคมสมัยใหม่ของแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับจากต่างประเทศ ใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ มีหน่วยวิเคราะห์ระดับปัจเจก กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับจากต่างประเทศในจังหวัดชัยภูมิ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ประเทศไทย จำนวน 420 คน เก็บข้อมูลเมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2566 ด้วยแบบสัมภาษณ์ที่ผ่านการตรวจสอบความถูกต้องเชิงเนื้อหาและมีค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.902 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิจัยพบว่าแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับจากต่างประเทศมีอายุเฉลี่ย43.6 ปี เป็นชาย ร้อยละ 56.2 และร้อยละ 33.1 จบชั้นประถมศึกษา มากกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งไปทำงานต่างประเทศแบบถูกกฎหมาย ในกลุ่มประเทศเอเชียตะวันออก ร้อยละ 94.0 และร้อยละ 52.1 ย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศเพียง 1 ครั้ง ซึ่งแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับส่วนใหญ่ มากกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 53.8 คาดหวังประโยชน์จากการย้ายถิ่นไปทำงานต่างประเทศระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 46.4 และแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับมากกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งสะสมทักษะชีวิตได้ในระดับปานกลาง เป็นที่น่าสังเกตว่า กว่าร้อยละ 40.0 สะสมทักษะชีวิตได้ในระดับต่ำ นอกจากนี้ พบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการสะสมทักษะชีวิตในสังคมสมัยใหม่ของแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับจากต่างประเทศ ได้แก่ เพศชาย จำนวนปีที่ศึกษา วิธีการย้ายถิ่นแบบถูกกฎหมาย จำนวนครั้งที่ย้ายถิ่น และการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง โดยทุกตัวแปรสามารถอธิบายการผันแปรของการสะสมทักษะชีวิตในสังคมสมัยใหม่ของแรงงานย้ายถิ่นกลับจากต่างประเทศได้ 32.6% (R-square = 0.326)

การค้าชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยและประเทศเพื่อนบ้านแม้จะมีปริมาณไม่มากนักเมื่อ เทียบกับปริมาณการค้าระหว่างประเทศของไทย แต่มีความสำคัญกับเศรษฐกิจของจังหวัดต่าง ๆ ที่ อยู่ตามแนวชายแดน และชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชนในประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน บทความนี้มีวัตถุ-ประสงค์ที่จะเสนอสภาพการค้าชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้านในจังหวัดชาย แดนที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ เชียงราย ตาก หนองคาย สระแก้ว และสงขลา การค้าชายแดนที่กล่าวถึงเป็น การค้าในระบบที่ผ่านพิธีการศุลกากร เนื้อหาของบทความแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ส่วน คือ การค้าระหว่าง ประเทศไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน การค้าชายแดนระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน และ ปัญหาอุปสรรคของการค้าชายแดน

แม่นํ้าโขงนับเป็นแม่น้ำนานาชาติที่มีความสำคัญต่อเศรษฐกิจของประเทศในกลุ่มอนุภูมิ-ภาค ด้วยเป็นแม่นํ้าที่ไหลผ่าน 6 ประเทศได้แก่ จีน เมียนม่าร์ ไทย ลาว กัมพูชา และเวียดนามก่อน ออกสู่ทะเลจีนใต้ การสำรวจแม่นํ้าโขงมีมาตั้งแต่ศตวรรษที่ 19 ประกอบกับนโยบายทางการเมืองใน การเปิดตลาดของกลุ่มประเทศเหล่านี้ ส่งผลให้เกิดการพัฒนาร่วมกันเพื่อใช้เส้นทางแม่น้ำโขงเป็น เส้นทางในการขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มประเทศสี่เหลี่ยมเศรษฐกิจ ได้แก่ จีน เมียนม่าร์ ไทย และลาว ในการเดินเรือพาณิชย์เสรีในแม่น้ำล้านช้าง-แม่น้ำโขง การเปิดท่าเรือตาม แนวแม่น้ำโขง 14 แห่งเพื่อรองรับปริมาณขนถ่ายสินค้าที่จะมีมากขึ้นในอนาคต แต่ด้วยการขนส่งทาง แม่น้ำโขงประสบกับปัญหาการเดินเรือที่ต้องเสี่ยงภัยอันตรายจากเกาะ แก่ง โขดหินใต้น้ำ และกระแส น้ำที่เชี่ยวกราก และข้อจำกัดปริมาณนํ้าในฤดูแล้งที่เดินเรือได้เฉพาะเรือขนาดเล็ก อันนำมาสู่การ เสนอแนวคิดจากประเทศจีนที่ต้องการให้มีการระเบิดเกาะแก่งหินใต้น้ำเพื่อให้เรือสินค้าขนาดใหญ่ เกิน 200 ตันขึ้นไปสามารถเดินเรือได้ตลอดทั้งปี และการสร้างเขื่อนขนาดใหญ่หลายเขื่อนกั้นแม่น้ำ โขงเพื่อเพิ่มปริมาณน้ำให้มากขึ้นในฤดูแล้ง อย่างไรก็ตามเป้าหมายหลักที่ควรเกิดขึ้นจากความ ร่วมมือในการพัฒนาเส้นทางการขนส่งสินค้าทางแม่น้ำโขงคือ การได้รับผลประโยชน์ร่วมกันในการ ใช้เส้นทางแม่น้ำโขงอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน
