A 9-year-old spayed female Chihuahua presented with a 2-month history of progressive corneal edema in the left eye. Slit lamp biomicroscopy showed moderate corneal edema, instability of the axial corneal epithelial surface, and an anterior cortical opacity of the lens. Based on these results, a diagnosis of canine endothelial degeneration was made with the incidental finding of an incipient cataract in the left eye. Keratoleptynsis successfully managed the corneal edema for 28 months after surgery without corneal ulceration. Canine atopic dermatitis (CAD) is a genetically predisposed inflammatory skin disease with a global distribution, yet it is incurable. A key clinical sign of CAD is pruritus. Oclacitinib has proven effective in managing pruritus in atopic dogs. This case report details the long-term administration of oclacitinib every other day for controlling pruritus in an atopic dog. An 8-year-old atopic Bangkaew dog presented with pruritus, alopecia, and recurrent Malassezia pachydermatis infection. Toxoplasmosis is a protozoan zoonosis caused by Toxoplasma gondii. Marsupials are considered a susceptible intermediate host. T. gondii is mainly transmitted to intermediate hosts via the fecal-oral route. A captive red kangaroo was diagnosed with disseminated toxoplasmosis based on clinicopathological and immunohistochemical (IHC) investigations. Two years later, a five-year-old Parma wallaby was kept in the same area as the red kangaroo and showed clinical signs of depression, withdrawal from the troop, and weakness. Oral examination revealed a soft, fluctuating mass at the left side of the tongue. Computed tomography showed a 21 × 32 × 66 mm lingual mass and enlarged left medial retropharyngeal lymph node. On cytology of the lingual mass, a round cell tumor was suspected; however, it was not responsive to glucocorticoid therapy. A twelve-year-old female Shih Tzu was presented for investigation and treatment of a vaginal mass. Partial resection, intracavitary fluid drainage and mucosal lining curettage had been made in the previous laparotomy. Computed tomography (CT) and perioperative gross appearance revealed a large vaginal cyst extended into the pelvic canal that was adhering to the bladder trigone, both ureters, the urethra and the descending colon. After antibiotics medication, the patient improved clinical signs but relapsed pleural effusion with a suspicious lung lesion. In this study, meta-analysis on prevalence and zoonotic significance of cryptosporidium infection in camels was performed. This study was completed following the instructions of PRISMA. Data were extracted afterward a complete search, and eligible articles were identified. The data were analyzed using a specific software program for meta-analysis, and the results included effect size, confidence intervals (CI), heterogeneity, and publication bias. A total of 4075 camels from 18 accepted studies were investigated for cryptosporidium infection. Of all, 287 camels were found positive for cryptosporidium infection, with a prevalence of 7.04%. The 23 Saanen and 42 Thai Native goats were genotyped at CSN1S1, CSN2, CSN1S2, and CSN3 loci using sequencing techniques. Three variants of A, C, and E on the CSN1S1 gene locus were demonstrated.
