The AB blood group system is a key classification for feline blood types, categorizing them as type A, B, or AB based on red blood cell surface antigens. This study aimed to update the prevalence of feline blood types among domestic and pedigreed cats in Bangkok and vicinities from 2022 to 2024. A total of 114 blood samples, including 76 Domestic Shorthairs (DSH) and 38 pedigreed cats, including 10 breeds, were analyzed using the rapid immunochromatographic feline blood typing. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of various factors on fresh semen quality in Ouled Djellal rams. Specifically, we examined the impact of semen collection method, season, ram age, testosterone levels, body weight , and testicular weight. Twelve mature Ouled Djellal rams were used in the trial. Six rams were trained for semen collection using an artificial vagina (AV), while semen from the other six rams was collected using an electroejaculator (EE) biweekly throughout the year. The overpopulation of free-roaming dogs poses significant risks to endemic species, public health, and the environment through predation and disease transmission. While surgical castration is effective, it raises ethical concerns regarding animal welfare. The objective of this study was to test the proposed hypothesized structural model of factor influencing pharmacist engagement and turnover intention in Thai community pharmacists. A cross-sectional study design with self-administered questionnaire was conducted in 209 fulltime community pharmacists. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling technique. The hypothesized model comprised five constructs. Organizational resources were assessed by training and development, payment and recognition, and physical working condition. Job characteristics were assessed by autonomy, job skill variety, task significant, and task identity. Social supports were evaluated by supervisory support and peer support. Introduction: Research-based learning (RBL) is an active way of engaging students and engendering research skills. Objectives: The objectives of the study were to examine the impact of RBL on student knowledge and assessment. Materials and Methods: RBL was run as a one-group pre-test/post-test experimental study where the 4th-year pharmacy undergraduates (n = 84) taking the basic pharmacoepidemiology course were the participants. RBL was incorporated into the course as a strategy to build small-scale real-life research projects into undergraduate assignments. Objective: The present work was designed to apply the submerged fermentation of five edible mushrooms including Schizophyllum commune, Lentinus polychrous, Lentinula edodes, Ganoderma lucidum, and Lentinus squarrosulus for antioxidant production. Methods: The antioxidant activity and total phenolic content (TPC) of 30 different broth and mycelium extracts acquired from the submerged mushroom fermentation in three liquid media, malt extract broth (MEB), potato dextrose broth (PDB), and yeast extract sucrose broth, were determined by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assay and Folin-Ciocalteu colorimetric method, respectively. Diagnostic macro- and microscopic features of Aristolochia clematitis L. herb were established as an obligatory element for the standardization of medicinal plant raw materials. They are as follows: Stems are cylindrical, unbranched, leaves are simple, petiolar, leaf blade is entire, and broadly ovate to rounded-triangular. Leaf base is deeply reniform, tip pointy concave. Leaf epidermis cells tortuous, stomata of anomocytic type, and glands with essential oil are present. The stem and petiole have fascicles of open collateral type.

Objective: The purpose of the study is to evaluate the hepatoprotective effects of Phikud Navakot (PN) extract against hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced oxidative stress in HepG2 cells. Materials and Methods: The cells were treated with concentrations of PN up to 1 mg/ml before incubation with H2O2. Cell viability and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation were assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide and 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate assays, respectively. Oxidative defense mechanisms were investigated by measuring glutathione (GSH) levels and activities of antioxidant enzymes. Objective: The current work was undertaken to evaluate in vitro antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties, together with total phenolic contents of ethyl acetate extracts from wild edible mushrooms collected in September 2017 from the rehabilitated forest area in the northeast of Thailand. Background: Patient access to anti-cancer medicines is challenging in Thailand and worldwide. Objective: This study aimed to explain and quantify access to anti-cancer medicines in Thailand. Methods: Mixed methods of literature review and in-depth interview were conducted. Access to anticancer medicines was compared to the World Health Organization-Model List of Essential Medicines (WHO-EML), and recommendations of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). Results: Access to National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) is indifferent among the three public schemes. Aim: The present work was aimed at formulating novel liquid self microemulsifying oil formulation and its solid form by spray drying method for improving the solubility of Ebastine, an antiallergic drug and BCS class II drug, evaluating its in vitro and in vivo potential. Materials and Methods: Floating tablets of moxifloxacin.HCl were prepared using variable amounts of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) K100M and lannea coromandelica gum (LCG) with effervescent mixtures as per 32 factorial designs by direct compression technique. Introduction: Minocycline is a tetracycline antibiotic drug that is receiving attention as an alternative for the treatment of depression. Several mechanisms have been proposed for this effect. The current study evaluated the involvement of the noradrenergic system in the antidepressant-like effect of minocycline. Background: Eriodictyol, a flavonoid isolated from Dendrobium ellipsophyllum, provides health benefits in several oxidative stress-related diseases. Objective: This study aimed to determine the protective effect and mechanisms of eriodictyol on hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-induced cell death in neuronal SH-SY5Y cells. Methods: The protective effect of eriodictyol against H2O2 was evaluated by resazurin assay. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the mitochondrial membrane potential were detected by 2’-7’ dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate and tetramethylrhodamine ethyl ester assays, respectively. Finally, the effects of eriodictyol on antioxidant enzyme expression and the mitochondria-mediated apoptotic cascade were determined using Western blot analysis. Introduction: Glioblastoma (GBM) is a highly invasive tumor, which exhibits a poor response to standard chemotherapeutic agents. Amantadine, an anti-influenza A with anti-Parkinson’s effect, inhibits cell proliferation and induces apoptosis in hepatocellular cancer cells. Rimantadine, a derivative of amantadine with comparable effect on influenza, also improves symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The canary is a small passerine bird of the finch family. Canary spermatozoa are also morphologically similar to many other songbird species. In this study, the morphological characteristics of Gloster canary spermatozoa of different age ranges were examined, and the length values of the parts forming the spermatozoa were compared. The study used ten active Gloster canaries between the ages of 3 (Trial-1) and four years (Trial-2). Local tissue damage caused by snake envenomation was a medical problem that caused morbidity and mortality for more than a decade, with no defined treatment guidelines. Nowadays, antivenom is the primary treatment for snakebite, which substantially reduces systemic venom but not significantly reducing local symptoms. We compiled a list of local damage therapies, including antivenom medication, surgery and skin grafting, small molecule medicines, and alternative therapies. Although each was not approved as a standard treatment, it may be a treatment option for tissue damage caused by snake venom. This study aimed to determine the prevalence, types, and risk factors of Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS) in non-racing Thoroughbred horses in Thailand. A total of 56 Thoroughbreds, aged 5 to 22 years (mean age: 12.43 ± 4.65 years), were included. Before sedation, a comprehensive history and physical examination were conducted. Gastroscopy was performed to identify gastric ulcers, using the Equine Gastric Ulcer Council 0–4 scoring system for non-glandular ulcers, while glandular ulcers were assessed as present or absent. This study identifies and characterizes a spirurid in a wild Sunda pangolin (Manis javanica) using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Native to Southeast Asia, the Sunda pangolin faces critical threats from poaching, illegal trafficking for its scales and meat, habitat loss, urban conflicts, and disease. Despite this, little is known about the biology of wild Sunda pangolins. In this research, spirurid parasites were recovered from a pangolin fatally injured in a vehicular collision. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of adding ethyl lauroyl arginate (ELA), encapsulated in organic nanoparticles, to a semen extender without antibiotics on sperm quality and bacterial load during short-term storage. Three ejaculates from Duroc boars were divided into four equal portions and diluted with Beltsville Thawing Solution to produce semen doses containing 3 billion spermatozoa in 80 ml. Protective antibody against classical swine fever virus (CSFV) is an important parameter used for disease monitoring in CSFV-endemic areas. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a simple and practical serological assay for CSFV antibody detection. However, the use of CSFV ELISAs in CSFV antibody-positive herds, i.e., CSFVvaccinated or -previously infected herds, was limited by an application of the test results.
