การหาสมรรถนะของทุ่งหญ้ามอสผสมถั่วเป็นโตรซีม่า โดยใช้พื้นที่ 15, 20 และ 25 ไร่ ใช้ระบบการหมุนเวียนแปลงหญ้าภายใต้สภาวะธรรมชาติ ระยะเวลาของการ ทดลอง 18 เดือน โดยใช้พื้นที่แปลงหญ้า เป็นอัตราส่วนของพื้นที่ต่อจำนวนโคเท่ากับ 3, 4 และ 5 ไร่/ตัว ตามลำดับ ปรากฏว่าโคทดลองทุกตัวมีน้ําหนักเพิ่มขึ้นโดยเฉลี่ยตลอดการทดลอง เท่ากับ 0.43, 0.51 และ 0.53 กก./ตัว/วัน ในการใช้พื้นที่ 3, 4 และ 5 ไร่ ตัว ตาม ลำดับ หรือน้ำหนักที่เพิ่มต่อไร่ต่อปีเท่ากับ 47.6, 43.95 และ 38.04 กก. ผลผลิตของหญ้ามอสผสมถั่วเซนโตรซีม่าหลังการทดลองจะมีปริมาณลดลงจากผลผลิตของหญ้าและถั่วก่อน การทดลองมาก ส่วนการวิเคราะห์ทางเคมีนั้นเกือบไม่แตกต่างกัน สภาพการฟื้นตัวของหญ้าและถั่ว สำหรับการใช้พื้นที่ 3ไร่/ตัว การฟื้นตัวของหญ้าไม่ทันกับการแทะเล็มของสัตว์ สภาพแปลงหญ้าโทรมมาก หญ้าและถั่วตายเกือบไม่มีหญ้าเหลือและมีวัชพืชขึ้นหนาแน่น การใช้พื้นที่ 4 ไร่/ตัว การฟื้นตัวของหญ้าและถั่วในระบบการหมุนเวียนภายใต้สภาวะธรรมชาตินี้พอมีหญ้าและถั่วพื้นตัวได้ทันกับการแทะเล็มของสัตว์ได้ตลอดการทดลอง แปลงหญ้าไม่โทรมมาก และยังสามารถจะใช้ เป็นทุ่งหญ้าต่อไปได้ และสำหรับพื้นที่ 5 ไร่/ตัว นั้น นับว่าเป็นการสูญเสียพื้นที่ไปโดยได้ ประโยชน์เนื่องจากใช้พื้นที่มากเกินไป โคกินหญ้าในแปลงไม่ทัน ทําให้มีส่วนลําต้นของหญ้าเหลือ ยาว ๆ เป็นจำนวนมาก และหญ้าจะเจริญคลุมถั่ว ทําให้ถั่วตาย ส่วนการทดลองทดสอบคุณภาพของหญ้าโดยใช้แกะเป็นสัตว์ทดลองนั้น พบว่ามีค่า อินทรีย์วัตถุย่อยได้เท่ากับ 47.32, 14.90 และ 42.19% และค่าโปรตีนย่อยได้เท่ากับ 3.91, 3.03 และ 3.55% สำหรับการใช้พื้นที่ 3, 4 และ 5 ไร่/ตัว ตามลำดับ

โรค ซี อาร์ ดี ในไก่ 2. แอนติบอดี ต่อเชื้อ มัยโคพลาสม่า กัลลิเซพติคุ่ม ในไก่กระทง, โสมทัต วงศ์สว่าง, เกรียงศักดิ์ สายธนู

ผลการศึกษาหาแอนติบอดี ต่อ มัยโคพลาสม่า กัลลิเซพติคุ่ม โดยวิธีแอ๊คกลูติเนชั่น ในลูกไก่ที่เกิดจากแม่พันธุ์ที่ไม่ได้วัคซีน MG 6 ฟาร์ม และจากแม่พันธุ์ที่ได้รับการฉีดวัคซีน 2 ฟาร์ม ปรากฏว่าตรวจพบแอนติบอดีในลูกไก่ที่เกิดจากแม่พันธุ์จากฟาร์มดังกล่าวข้างบน จำนวน 4 ฟาร์ม (67%) จำนวนลูกไก่ 6 รุ่น และ 2 ฟาร์ม (100%) ตามลำดับ โดยอัตรา การพบแอนติบอดีในลูกไก่อายุ 1 วันที่เกิดจากแม่พันธุ์ที่ไม่ได้ฉีดวัคซีน MG จะผันแปรระหว่าง 29-100% และแอนติบอดีจะหมดไปภายใน 21 วัน ส่วนแอนติบอดีในลูกไก่ที่เกิดจากแม่พันธุ์ที่ ฉีดวัคซีน MG จะแปรผันระหว่าง 42 -100% และแอนติบอดีจะหมดไปภายใน 14 วัน ลูกไก่ที่ตรวจพบแอนติบอดี โดยวิธีแอ็คกลูติเนชั่น จะมี HI titer สูงระหว่าง 80-160 ลูกไก่ที่ไม่สามาถ ลูกไก่ที่ไม่สามารถตรวจพบแอนติบอดีด้วยวิธีดังกล่าว ส่วนใหญ่จะไม่พบแอนติบอดี เมื่อตรวจด้วยวิธี HI เช่นกัน หรือถ้าพบแอนติบอดี ก็จะมีไตเตอร์ต่ำกว่า 40

The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine

The dog plays an important role in the prevalence of rabies in Thailand. It has accounted for 90-93 percent of all animal brain submitted for rabies diagnosis each year. Futhermore, canine rabies represents about 95 per cent of all diagnosed animal rabies. The dog is also the primary source of rabies infection in human; 97.87 per cent of human deaths due to rabies are caused by rabid dogs. การรักษาแผลไลเคน พลานัสกับการตั้งครรภ์ รายงานผู้ป่วย 1 ราย, กอบกาญจน์ ทองประสม, มัณฑารพ ไชยมุสิก

จากการศึกษาผู้ป่วย 1 รายที่เป็นไลเคน พลานัส ที่ริมฝีปากล่างเป็นระยะเวลา 3 ปี 8 เดือน การ รักษาผู้ป่วยด้วยสเตียรอยด์และยาอีกหลายชนิดช่วยบำบัดอาการได้แต่ไม่หายขาด ในระหว่างการรักษาพบว่ารอยโรค ที่ริมฝีปาก มีความสัมพันธ์เกี่ยวข้องกับการตั้งครรภ์ของผู้ป่วย กล่าวคือเมื่อผู้ป่วยตั้งครรภ์แรกประมาณระยะ 6 เดือน รอยโรคเริ่มหายไปและปราศจากอาการโดยที่ไม่ได้รักษาด้วยชนิดใดเลย หลังจากผู้ป่วยคลอดบุตรแล้วรอยโรค กลับเป็นขึ้นมาใหม่และรุนแรงกว่าเดิม จนกระทั่งเมื่อผู้ป่วยตั้งครรภ์ที่สอง ได้หยุดรักษาด้วยยาทุกชนิดในช่วงเวลา เดียวกันกับครรภ์แรก รอยโรคหายไปหมด ซึ่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงของรอยโรคทำให้เข้าใจว่าอาจมีความสัมพันธ์กับ ระดับฮอร์โมนที่เกิดขึ้นในระหว่างตั้งครรภ์ในผู้ป่วยรายนี้

It was well known that the major etiological agent of periodontal diseases is microbial plaque. However, convincing evidence for hereditary nature of some forms of periodontal diseases, such as juvenile periodontitis, has been well accumulated. A familial pattern of alveolar bone loss has been shown to occur in several families with certain forms of periodontal diseases. It was suggested that heredity and genetic factors may play a role as one of the causes involved in the development of juvenile periodontitis. Different modes of inheritance have been postulated including an autosomal recessive trait and X-linked dominant trait. Moreover, it was suggested …

The Mandibular Nerve Block By Closed Mouth Method : A Clinical Evaluation, Lawan Meksupa

One hundred patients were injected by "Akinosi mandibular block" technic, using an intra-oral landmark and closed mouth approached to the inferior dental, lingual and long buccal nerve at the same time. Only one penetration into the oral mucosa is made in this injection so it reduces patient anxiety, and is also useful when the mouth opening is limited.
