Harnessing Nigeria’S Aquaculture And Fisheries Component Of The Blue Economy, B. S. Awe, O. Adeoti Sep 2026

Harnessing Nigeria’S Aquaculture And Fisheries Component Of The Blue Economy, B. S. Awe, O. Adeoti

Blue Economy

Nigeria aims to diversify from carbon to blue economy. Target 7 of Goal 14 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the creation of the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, and the passage of the National Policy on Marine and Blue Economy (2025 -2034) in May 2025 are the three frameworks driving this ambition. However, water pollution and changes in climate are central to harnessing the aquaculture and fisheries component of the blue economy. With increasing waste disposal in waterways and waterbodies and decreasing river water flow due to changes in climate, these have implications for …

From Learning Outcomes To Assessment : Integrated Model For Assessing Creative Problem-Solving Skills In Higher Education Students, Metinee Tanongkit, Sirirat Janyarat, Tippawan Dechsong, Sarawut Trisri, Patcharee Preedasuriyachai

Journal of Education Studies

This academic article aims to present an integrated model for assessing creative problem-solving skills among higher education students, particularly in the contexts of general education courses and large classes. Creative problem-solving is a soft skill characterized by a process-oriented and multidimensional structure, involving understanding problems, generating ideas, making decisions, and developing solutions for action. Therefore, it cannot be comprehensively assessed through a single instrument or solely through end-point outcomes. The academic article proposed model functions as a mechanism for translating learning outcomes into assessment by connecting six components: defining the skill, identifying behavioral indicators, designing learning activities, specifying assessment evidence, …

Disciplinary Literacy : An Approach For Enhancing Reading Literacy Among Thai Students, Suphanat Detraksa, Santiwat Chandai

Journal of Education Studies

The results of the PISA 2022 reading literacy assessment indicate a critical crisis in the reading abilities of Thai students. Only 35% of lower secondary school students were able to read at the baseline level, while the remaining 65% performed below it. This situation underscores the urgent need for effective instructional approaches to improve students’ reading abilities at both policy and practical levels. This article proposes the concept of disciplinary literacy to accomplish this. The core principle of disciplinary literacy is the application of discipline-specific strategies authentically employed by experts in each field to comprehend texts. The article begins by …

Experimental And Predictive Modelling Assessment Of Spear Grass Ash As A Partial Cement Replacement In Concrete, Abraham Divine, Festus C. Onyeka, Agori Ebipuakebina John, Obayehagweme Ezekiel

Engineering and Technology Journal

The global construction industry is under increasing pressure to minimize its environmental impact, especially that of cement manufacture, which contributes approximately 5 to 8% of anthropogenic CO2 emissions. This study investigates Spear Grass Ash (SGA) as a partial replacement for Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), focusing on workability, compressive strength, and split tensile strength. OPC was replaced with SGA at 0% to 30% by weight in 5% increments, at a constant water-to-cement ratio of 0.50. The ash was characterised by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and both strengths were tested at 28 and 56 days. XRF confirmed a combined SiO2, …

Payload-Aware Constrained Route Distribution For Ethernet Vpn Ip Prefix Routes, Anonymous Sep 2026

Payload-Aware Constrained Route Distribution For Ethernet Vpn Ip Prefix Routes, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

A payload-aware extension to route target constrained route distribution lets a router advertise both the route target it wants routes for and a descriptor of the payload it needs, such as one Internet Protocol version, the other, or both. The descriptor travels inside the route target membership advertisement, so it propagates as a route rather than a session capability and reaches distant originating routers across any number of route reflector tiers. A route reflector merges the descriptors of its clients by bitwise union into one request advertised upstream, and applies each client's descriptor as an outbound filter on routes sent …

Active Rf Privacy Guard For Detecting And Localizing Hidden Cameras Using Existing Wlan/Wwan Modules And Active Stimulus Response, Hp Inc

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure relates to the field of radio-frequency sensing, wireless signal processing, and privacy protection. A technique is disclosed that reuses existing wireless local-area network (WLAN) and wireless wide-area network (WWAN) modules in a host electronic device to detect, verify, and localize potential hidden wireless cameras. The technique collects radio-frequency (RF) signal and traffic characteristics, identifies camera-like transmission behavior, and applies an active stimulus-response process in which the host device intentionally generates a known visual or audio stimulus and monitors whether nearby RF traffic changes in temporal correlation with that stimulus. This correlation helps verify whether a suspicious wireless transmitter …

Hardware-Rooted Integrity Attestation For Ai Agents, Niranjan M M Sep 2026

Hardware-Rooted Integrity Attestation For Ai Agents, Niranjan M M

By measuring agent-specific artifacts such as binaries, models, plugins, policies, and runtime composition, and binding that measured state to a trusted platform identity and freshness evidence, the system enables real-time and continuous trust decisions for AI agents across physical and virtual environments. In some embodiments, the attestation pipeline is further strengthened using a hardware quantum entropy source to improve nonce generation, …

Semantic Evolution Of Biomedical Data Ecosystems Using Dependency Graphs, Soumendra Kumar Mishra Sep 2026

Semantic Evolution Of Biomedical Data Ecosystems Using Dependency Graphs, Soumendra Kumar Mishra

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure presents a framework for managing semantic evolution across biomedical data ecosystems using dependency graphs. Changes to terminologies, ontologies, information models, mappings, datasets, analytical features, and AI/ML assets are represented as typed semantic changes and propagated across their dependencies. The framework identifies affected artifacts, determines the semantic conditions that must be preserved, and selects the minimum set of transformations required to accommodate the change. Current and proposed semantic states are validated against consistent evaluation criteria to assess mapping consistency, feature compatibility, model dependencies, and traceability. When validation succeeds, the proposed state is released with supporting evidence. When validation does …
