The .rd7 files are the type generated by MALA GPR systems to record raw data (they are unprocessed binary data files containing the recorded electrical signals), along with .cor (coordinate data), .mrk (markers on radargrams), .mrkj (modern version of .mrk), and .rad (header file; contains survey parameters, antenna frequency, samples per trace, time window, and velocity) files. The info.dat file was derived from GPR-Slice. It is a critical ASCII text file that maps the GPR radargram filenames to their specific spatial positions. It defines the survey grid layout, including line lengths, survey direction (X or Y), and profile spacing. These …

01. Elfie, Second Edition (Novel - Ebook), Matthew Lipman
Early Elementary School Curriculum
Elfie is in the first grade and is so shy she can’t speak in class and can hardly even formulate a question. Yet little escapes her and her mind puzzles over everything that happens in class and at home. When the principal proposes a contest aimed at improving reasoning, her whole class is caught up in figuring out how sentences work and how distinctions and connections are made. At the same time, Elfie and her classmates discover many distinctions fundamental to inquiry: appearance and reality, the one and the many, parts and wholes, similarity and difference, permanence and change.
Mixed-Member Proportional Representation And The U.S. House Of Representatives: Replication Data And Code, Alex Keena
Mixed-Member Proportional Representation And The U.S. House Of Representatives: Replication Data And Code, Alex Keena
Political Science Data
The use of single-seat districts and majoritarian rules for legislative elections is associated with many problems in American politics. However, this method of electing legislators to the U.S. House of Representatives can be reformed through acts of Congress. We investigate the potential of mixed-member electoral systems, which have gained popularity among reformers for potentially providing the “best of both worlds." We review the comparative scholarship to clarify the mechanics of mixed-member systems, particularly how mixed-member proportional systems (MMP) balance the representational goals of dyadic, localized representation with proportional party representation. We model an MMP system for the House to see …

Identification Of A Rural Black Community-Based Mental Health Intervention Via Cbpr, Kirsten Mengell
Identification Of A Rural Black Community-Based Mental Health Intervention Via Cbpr, Kirsten Mengell
College of Graduate Studies: Theses & Dissertations
Poor mental health in the US has increased since 2011 (Mental Health America, 2022). Rural communities face disparities in mental health shortages (Andrilla et al., 2018). African Americans face additional barriers, including a historical underutilization of mental health and high mental health stigma. This is significant given the higher rates of mental distress and discrimination among rural African Americans compared to Whites (James et al., 2017), and a recent increase in suicide among Black Americans (Stone et al., 2023). Illustrating a need for options within rural Black communities that can overcome professional shortages and cultural barriers to improve mental health …

Wearable-sensor-based human movement analysis is an increasingly important component of digital health and rehabilitation, enabling objective monitoring and data-driven personalization of therapy. In parallel, machine learning (ML) methods have rapidly expanded for interpreting multimodal movement signals, yet the evidence base remains heterogeneous and difficult to benchmark. This PRISMA-guided systematic review synthesizes recent ML approaches for wearable human motion analysis in rehabilitation-oriented health applications. We searched IEEE Xplore, PubMed, and Scopus for English-language studies published from 2021 to 2025 and extracted information on sensor modalities, ML task formulations and model families, dataset characteristics, validation protocols, and reported performance metrics, together with …

Low-altitude remote sensing networks are increasingly important for applications, such as environmental monitoring, disaster response, infrastructure inspection, and real-time sensing services. However, when many sensing nodes share limited spectrum resources, severe cochannel interference can degrade communication reliability and delay sensing-data delivery. This challenge becomes more critical in edge-enabled deployments, where control decisions must be made under strict latency, memory, and computational constraints. To address this issue, this article proposes a large language model (LLM)-enhanced edge-aware lightweight reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted dynamic channel allocation (EL-RIS-DCA) framework for interference mitigation in dense low-altitude remote sensing networks. The novelty of the proposed framework …

Balancing energy efficiency with stringent timing guarantees in real-time mixed-criticality systems (MCS) is a key challenge, especially in multicore architectures. This paper introduces a novel energy-aware scheduling framework that integrates dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) with a Decreasing-Criticality-Decreasing-Utilization (DCDU) allocation approach. The optimal operating frequencies are obtained at each criticality level; high-criticality tasks are assigned to cores at full operating frequency to maintain timing guarantees, while low-criticality tasks are allocated using worst-case execution times scaled to their optimal frequency. A fixed-priority response-time analysis is used for schedulability in low mode, high mode, and during mode changes. The extensive simulations …
