A Survey Of First Year Elementary Teacher Attitudes Regarding Supervision And Evaluation Practices Of Their Principals, Larry L. Thomas
All Master's Theses
It is the opinion of this writer that a teacher's attitude toward his building principal greatly affects his ability to perform in the classroom. If he is receiving the assistance he deserves and needs, his chances of success and continuance in the teaching field are greatly enhanced. This is especially true in the case of the beginning teacher who faces the innumerable problems inherent in teaching for the first time.

Teacher Education, Educational Leadership & Policy ETDs

The California Psychological Inventory (CPI) by Harrison G. Gough was the test instrument selected to test student independence (Achievement via Independence Scale -- Ai), and teacher flexibility (Flexibility Scale -- Fx). Because literature teachers have little understanding of the art of film, they often consider the film to be a frill rather than an aid to learning. The author contends in this study that literature teachers must be convinced that the motion picture is an art, and that the motion picture teaches the student to appreciate and understand literature more thoroughly. The problem is to convince the literature teacher of the art and the power of the film.

All Graduate Plan B and other Reports, Spring 1920 to Spring 2023

However; it seemed that the opinions of recent degree recipients would provide a primary source of information for evaluating the relative merits of required courses and experiences. The Dean of the College of Education at Utah State University indicated that this important source of information about the Master's degree program in elementary education had been largely …
