This study illustrates how parents, siblings, and extended family provide emotional, informative, instrumental, and appraisal supports to first-generation undergraduate students of color. Findings also suggest that families’ support is shaped by families’ understanding of the challenges first-generation college students face, their access to information about college and college life, and their consideration of students’ emerging adult developmental needs. Based on the experiences and perspectives of 12 family members, this study shows that families continue to be engaged in first-generation undergraduate students’ college education in essential ways, countering deficit perceptions of these populations, and providing new understandings of what family engagement …

The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between events related to trans athletes and their portrayal in the media. This research project focuses on the accomplishment of one trans athlete, Lia Thomas, winning a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 swimming championship in 2022. Articles from three newspapers of differing biases: The Washington Post, USA Today, and Washington Examiner, and one local newspaper of Thomas’ competing state, Philadelphia Daily News, were used in this analysis. Attitudes towards immigration have been shown to be driven by dehumanization and disgust. The more people dehumanize immigrants and the more disgusted they feel, the more negative attitudes they tend to have toward immigrants. However, little is known about how exposure to social media content that links dehumanization, disgust, and immigration influences users’ attitudes on this issue. This is important to consider because the majority of adults in the United States are on social media. This thesis challenges the dominant discourse surrounding the so-called "boy crisis" in education by critically examining gender performativity in Belgian classrooms. Rather than accepting the narrative that boys are inherently disadvantaged in contemporary schooling, this study interrogates how gender is constructed and performed within educational settings. Drawing on Judith Butler’s theory of performativity, the research explores how teachers, curricula, and peer interactions contribute to the reinforcement or subversion of traditional gender norms. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์การตกเป็นเหยื่ออาชญากรรมออนไลน์ รวมถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภูมิหลังส่วนบุคคลกับประสบการณ์การตกเป็นเหยื่ออาชญากรรมออนไลน์ ตลอดจนแนวทางการป้องกันผู้สูงอายุตกเป็นเหยื่ออาชญากรรมออนไลน์ผ่านโทรศัพท์มือถือของผู้สูงอายุในโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุกรุงเทพมหานคร การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาแบบผสมผสานโดยใช้เทคนิคการสำรวจโดยรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้สูงอายุในโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุในกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 461 คน และสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกกับผู้สูงอายุที่ตกเป็นเหยื่อของอาชญากรรมออนไลน์ จำนวน 12 คน ผู้อำนวยการหรือผู้จัดการโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 7 คน และบุคลากรในกระบวนการยุติธรรมที่มีประสบการณ์การจับกุมคนหลอกลวงผู้สูงอายุจำนวน 1 คน ผลการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้สูงอายุเคยตกเป็นเหยื่ออาชญากรรมออนไลน์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 29.7 โดยภาพรวม รูปแบบอาชญากรรมออนไลน์ที่พบบ่อยที่สุดคือ ฉ้อโกงการซื้อ-ขายสินค้าออนไลน์ ผลการทดสอบไคสแควร์ยืนยันว่า อายุ ระดับการศึกษา เวลาการใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือเฉลี่ยต่อวัน และความคล่องแคล่วในการใช้โทรศัพท์มือถือมีความสัมพันธ์กับประสบการณ์การตกเป็นเหยื่อของอาชญากรรมออนไลน์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ผลการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพสอดคล้องกับผลการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณโดยพบว่าผู้สูงอายุคือผู้ที่ตกเป็นเหยื่อฉ้อโกงซื้อ-ขายสินค้าออนไลน์มากที่สุด ทั้งนี้แนวทางหรือวิธีการป้องกันผู้สูงอายุไม่ให้ตกเป็นเหยื่ออาชญากรรมออนไลน์ผ่านโทรศัพท์มือถือ แบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วน คือ 1) ผู้สูงอายุต้องดูแลและป้องกันตนเอง ผู้สูงอายุต้องมีสติ ไม่โลภ ไม่กลัว ไม่ไว้ใจใครง่าย แยกบัญชีการเงินออนไลน์ และจำกัดการถอนเงินต่อวัน และ 2) บุคคลและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการดูแลและป้องกันผู้สูงอายุ บุคคลในครอบครัวหรือผู้ใกล้ชิดให้ความรู้และช่วยเหลือผู้สูงอายุ โรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุจัดอบรมให้ความรู้และเตือนสติการหลอกลวงทางออนไลน์

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์การลักลอบเคลื่อนย้ายยาเสพติดข้ามพรมแดนขององค์กรอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติผ่านช่องทางการขนส่งระหว่างประเทศทางน้ำและอากาศของประเทศไทย โดยมุ่งวิเคราะห์ปัญหา อุปสรรค และเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนามาตรการการสกัดกั้นที่มีประสิทธิภาพ งานวิจัยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง (Semi-structured Interview) กับผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานบังคับใช้กฎหมายและองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ได้แก่ สำนักงาน ป.ป.ส. สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ กรมศุลกากร และสำนักงาน ยาเสพติดและอาชญากรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNODC) ร่วมกับการวิเคราะห์เอกสารกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยใช้แนวคำถามการสัมภาษณ์ (Interview Guide) เป็นเครื่องมือหลัก ผลการวิจัยสะท้อนให้เห็นปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่มีนัยสำคัญ ได้แก่ ความหลากหลายและความซับซ้อนของรูปแบบการลักลอบ อุปสรรคด้านการประสานงานและระบบข่าวกรอง และข้อจำกัดด้านทรัพยากร เช่น บุคลากร งบประมาณ และเครื่องมือ ตลอดจนข้อจำกัดด้านกฎหมายทั้งในระดับภายในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงอิทธิพลของบริบททางการเมืองที่ส่งผลต่อการกำหนดนโยบายยาเสพติด นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่าโครงสร้างองค์กรและแนวทางปฏิบัติที่เน้นการตอบสนองเฉพาะหน้า ยังคงเป็นข้อจำกัดต่อการสกัดกั้นเชิงระบบในระยะยาว เพื่อตอบสนองต่อปัญหาดังกล่าว งานวิจัยนี้จึงเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาใน 6 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่ (1) การกำหนดยุทธศาสตร์เชิงรุก เช่น การใช้กลยุทธ์การส่งมอบยาเสพติดภายใต้การควบคุม (Controlled Delivery) และการพัฒนาระบบคัดกรองและสุ่มตรวจในจุดเสี่ยง (2) การบูรณาการความร่วมมือภายในประเทศ ผ่านการจัดตั้งระบบฐานข้อมูลกลางด้านข่าวกรอง และการขยายโมเดลคณะทำงานสกัดกั้นยาเสพติดในพื้นที่ด่านหน้า (3) การเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในระดับทวิภาคีและพหุภาคี โดยเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวกรองและการสืบสวน (4) การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีและระบบสารสนเทศ เช่น การใช้ AI และ Big Data วิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมเสี่ยง และการเสริมอุปกรณ์ตรวจสอบให้หน่วยงานภาคสนาม (5) การปรับปรุงกฎหมายให้สอดคล้องกับลักษณะของอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ และ (6) การเสริมสร้างศักยภาพองค์กรและบุคลากร ทั้งในด้านทักษะเฉพาะทาง และกลไกการตรวจสอบภายในองค์กร ที่เข้มแข็ง ข้อเสนอแนะจากการวิจัยครอบคลุมทั้งระดับปฏิบัติการและระดับนโยบาย โดยเน้นการยกระดับระบบตรวจสอบและข่าวกรอง การพัฒนาทักษะเจ้าหน้าที่ การปรับปรุงกฎหมายให้สอดรับกับอาชญากรรมสมัยใหม่ และการออกแบบแผนยุทธศาสตร์ระดับชาติเพื่อรองรับปัญหาอย่างต่อเนื่องและเป็นระบบ ภายใต้การบูรณาการระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และชุมชน เพื่อสร้างกลไกการสกัดกั้นยาเสพติดที่มีความยืดหยุ่น เข้มแข็ง และยั่งยืน ภายใต้หลักสิทธิมนุษยชนและนิติธรรม

Marriage And Fertility Intentions Of Generation Y And Z Women In Beijing:A Qualitative Study, Hao Shi

This paper aimed to investigate the marriage and fertility intentions of Gen Z and Gen Y women living in Beijing, China, and examine the factors affecting their decisions regarding marriage and fertility intentions. I employed the method of in-depth interviews, conducting 20 interviews online between April and June 2025. The key findings reveal explicit attitudes among the women from Generation Y and Generation Z in Beijing. A qualitative analysis confirmed three major themes: (1) career-centered identity and the deprioritization of family planning; (2) fear of marriage and childbearing; and (3) awakening of individualism. การวิจัยเรื่อง “การศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง มิติสุขภาพ การมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคม และพฤติกรรมสุขภาพ ต่อความสุขของผู้สูงอายุไทย” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมิติพฤติกรรมสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุกับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมิติด้านประชากรศาสตร์ของผู้สูงอายุไทยในรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย กับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมิติด้านสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุไทยที่มีลักษณะติดบ้าน ติดเตียง และติดสังคม กับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ 4) เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลระหว่างผู้สูงอายุไทยที่ประเมินว่าตนเองมีสุขภาพไม่แข็งแรงและมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคมหรือรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย กับระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ และ 5) เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลระหว่างเพศของผู้สูงอายุไทยกับมิติการมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคม เพศของผู้สูงอายุไทยกับรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย และมิติสุขภาพกับรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย ที่ส่งผลต่อระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) งานวิจัยนี้ใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ (Secondary Data) จากสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติในการสำรวจประชากรสูงอายุในประเทศไทย พ.ศ. 2564 กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ที่มีอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 33,828 คน และได้ดำเนินการทดสอบความน่าเชื่อถือของการวิเคราะห์ (Robustness Tests) เช่น การตรวจสอบปัญหา Multicollinearity และ Heteroscedasticity เป็นต้น จากการวิเคราะห์พบว่าแบบจำลอง Heteroscedastic Linear Regression เหมาะสมกับงานวิจัยนี้เนื่องจาก Heteroscedastic Linear Regression ให้ค่าความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานที่ถูกต้อง โดยไม่เกิดอคติของค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ต่าง ๆ ทำให้การอนุมานผลทางสถิติมีความน่าเชื่อเชื่อถือ และให้ค่าพารามิเตอร์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้การวิจัยนี้ใช้ Maximum Likelihood estimation (MLE) โดยให้ค่าประมาณที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ปัจจัยด้านประชากรศาสตร์ เช่น เพศ อายุ และระดับการศึกษา เป็นตัวกำหนดความสุขที่สำคัญ โดยผู้สูงอายุเพศหญิง ผู้สูงอายุที่มีระดับการศึกษาสูง และผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพดี มีแนวโน้มที่จะมีระดับความสุขมาก ปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อการเพิ่มระดับความสุขของผู้สูงอายุไทย โดยผู้สูงอายุที่มีรายได้สูง หรือผู้สูงอายุที่มีสิทธิเข้าถึงสุขภาพในกลุ่มข้าราชการหรือข้าราชบำนาญ หน่วยงานอิสระของรัฐ องค์การปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น พบว่ามีความสุขอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ นอกจากนี้ ผู้สูงอายุที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางสังคม เช่น การเป็นสมาชิกและหรือเข้าร่วมของกลุ่ม/ชมรม รับการสนับสนุนทางสังคม พบกว่ามีระดับความสุขที่สูงขึ้นอย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ อีกทั้งการอาศัยอยู่กับสมาชิกในครอบครัว ไม่ว่าจะอาศัยอยู่กับคู่สมรส บุตร หลาน ญาติ และบุคคลอื่น ๆ …

Menopause is a transitional phase in a woman’s life, and society is filled with negative stereotypes of women in menopause. Menopause is a difficult period for many women due to hormonal fluctuations, changes in their bodies, and various other health effects. Louisville, Kentucky is home to a surprisingly robust – and complex – transgender community. This study uses qualitative data from interviews, collaborative maps, and archival research to analyze a geography of belonging for transgender residents in the city. It discusses how the twelve participants negotiate their relationships with the conservative, “red” state of Kentucky, as well as the geographical decision-making they use to navigate Louisville’s many neighborhoods. Ultimately, this thesis draws attention to the ways in which prejudice shapes the landscape of belonging for transgender life in Derby City.

It first establishes Foucault’s philosophical assumptions, methods, and political goal of countering “objectivizing” modern Western social forces. It then draws on sources from the three major phases of Foucault’s career to trace his development of a general conceptualization of experience as relational, or as non-exhaustively co-constituted by and through three indispensable kinds of social forces: knowledge, power, and ethics. The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between anxious attachment and adult sexual behaviors. The study utilized pairfam, a nationally representative German sample, as a secondary data set for its quantitative analysis. Participants responded to two anxious attachment scales and questions regarding sexual desire, sexual confidence, and age at first sexual experiences. Analyzing data from 5561 individuals, averaging 29.27 years old, a path analysis was conducted to assess variable effects. Findings indicate that higher anxious attachment correlates with reduced sexual confidence and earlier onset of sexual intercourse. Young adults in college experience significant rates of mental health difficulties. The mental wellness of young adults has shown to have a substantial link to future success, health, and well-being. Individuals with marginalized sexual and gender identities (SGM) often hold additional mental health difficulties due to having identities that typically defy societyʼs assumptions and expectations, and these assumptions/expectations are presented to youth from a young age. Background: Research has found that Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have been shown to lead to a myriad of issues including struggling in school. The more ACEs a child experiences, the worse their outcome tends to be, including school outcomes. However, critics of ACE research have argued that not all ACEs weigh the same and intersectionality needs to be considered. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the relationship between ACEs and school outcome issues. Most people who perform a heroic act will, afterward, deny that their actions were heroic and claim that anyone would have done the same, even though that is demonstrably false (and, often, others were present who failed to act heroically at all). The literature on the psychology of heroism has never investigated why this is. This theoretical paper proposes an answer and seeks to provoke exploration of a previously unexplored topic. งานวิจัยเรื่อง “การตกเป็นเหยื่อของการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ในสังคมไทย” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมของผู้กระทำผิดและผู้ที่ตกเป็นเหยื่อการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ ศึกษาสภาพปัญหาของการตกเป็นเหยื่อและเสนอแนะแนวทางในการป้องกันการตกเป็นเหยื่อการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ในสังคมไทย เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ที่ตกเป็นเหยื่อการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ จำนวน 4 คน และผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่มีความรู้ความสามารถเฉพาะทางและผู้ที่มีส่วนในการช่วยเหลือเหยื่อ จำนวน 8 คน ผลการศึกษา พบว่ารูปแบบพฤติกรรมของผู้กระทำผิด มี 3 ประการ ดังนี้ 1) การพยายามติดต่อสื่อสารอย่างต่อเนื่องและส่งข้อความที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ทางออนไลน์ 2) การนำข้อมูลของเหยื่อไปใช้ในทางที่มิชอบ และ 3) การนำข้อมูลที่เฝ้าติดตามทางออนไลน์ไปสะกดรอยในทางกายภาพ สาเหตุหรือแรงจูงใจที่นำไปสู่การกระทำความผิด ดังนี้ 1) ความสะดวกในการเข้าถึงข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลและการติดต่อเหยื่อได้โดยตรง 2) ความต้องการสร้างความสัมพันธ์บางประการ และ 3) ความโกรธแค้นเมื่อถูกปฏิเสธหรือความต้องการควบคุม พฤติกรรมของบุคคลที่นำไปสู่การตกเป็นเหยื่อการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ มี 2 ประการ ดังนี้ 1) การขาดความระมัดระวังในการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลบนสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ และ 2) ลักษณะทางกายภาพของเหยื่อ นอกจากนี้ผลการศึกษา สภาพปัญหาของการตกเป็นเหยื่อการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ มี 4 ประการ ดังนี้ 1) การขาดความตระหนักรู้ 2) สภาพของเทคโนโลยีและอินเทอร์เน็ต 3) การขาดกฎหมายหรือมาตรการเฉพาะที่ใช้กับการกระทำความผิด และ 4) ขาดบุคลากรที่มีความชำนาญเฉพาะทาง สำหรับแนวทางในการป้องกันการตกเป็นเหยื่อการสะกดรอยออนไลน์ ได้แก่ 1) การสอนมารยาทการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ต และสร้างความตระหนักรู้ในอันตรายจากการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลแก่คนในสังคม 2) การเริ่มป้องกันจากตนเอง 3) การพัฒนาระบบกฎหมายและการบังคับใช้ และ 4) การพัฒนาบุคลากรให้มีความรู้ความชำนาญ และพัฒนาเครื่องมือทางเทคโนโลยีที่ช่วยสืบสวนการกระทำความผิดทางออนไลน์

A graduate student in art therapy wrote this heuristic paper to explore shame's role as both a negative internal feeling and a cultural and social tool for evaluating and regulating behavior. As a transgender woman, she examines what it is like to be labeled as Filipino and deal with being transgender. Tiny advances have been made in the understanding of shame within the context of minority transgender self-research. Using art to expose those feelings associated with shame, balance them with affirmations, and ground them in native identity are key aspects of this process. Not only has it served as the wastewater treatment facility for the city, it has also provided other beneficial uses such as acting as a sanctuary for bird, mammal, amphibian, and macroinvertebrate species. This research examines how emergency medical service (EMS) workers navigate and manage their calls in Humboldt County, a rural region of Northern California. The primary theoretical framework is drawn from Arlie Hochschild’s theory of Emotional Labor. This paper examines how emotional labor impacts EMS workers within a rural environment and with limited resources. I also look at how COVID-19 complicated EMS workers’ experiences. Public discourse has questioned whether the growing visibility of LGBTQ+ populations may contribute to the national fertility decline.
