Italian Fascism, Elmer A. Plischke
Italian Fascism, Elmer A. Plischke
Bachelors’ Theses
We choose Italy for our study, because she is the mother of this phenomenon -- Fascism having originated in Italy -- and because Fascism received its name by and from that country. Wherever necessary, we will, for the purpose of elucidation, make allusions to and draw comparisons with the forms of Fascism existing in other countries. The purpose of this paper, then, is to make a searching inquiry into the institutions of the Italy of today as compared with the pre-Fascist Italy, so that we will be enabled to determine the true nature of Fascism.

Elizabethan Left-Overs In Allen County, Alfred Dalton
Elizabethan Left-Overs In Allen County, Alfred Dalton
Masters Theses & Specialist Projects
This study of the Elizabethan influences remaining in the spoken language of the people of Allen County, Kentucky, is an outgrowth of discussion in the English classes of Dr. Gordon Wilson, Western Kentucky State Teachers College, concerning the folklore of the present-day rural people of Kentucky. I have endeavored to give a true picture of the picturesque language of the farming people as they go about their every-day business of making a living, with particular emphasis upon those words and usages that are no longer considered in good use.

Recommendation Letter For Bruno Schweizer From Karl Alexander Von Müller, April 9, 1936, Karl Alexander Von Muller
Bruno Schweizer
K.A. von Müller describes Bruno Schweizer's work at the South-Southeast Institute of the University of Munich and his focus on dialect and folk studies. He emphasizes Schweizer's knowledge and organizing skills and states that Schweizer only left the Institute due to its refocusing on ethnopolitical questions requiring knowledge of southern Slavic, Hungarian and Romanian languages. A strong recommendation, presumably written to the Ahnenerbe.

Whither Marriage?, Marguerite Irmgard Reuss
Bachelors’ Theses
This thesis has a threefold aim. I. The writer considers whether marriage as opposed. to promiscuity is necessary for the stability of the family and or the nation. II. The writer then aims to decide in the light of experience which theory of marriage among selected pre-Christian. peoples was the best from the standpoint of family and national stability. III. The writer then aims to assay modern theory of marriage to determine whether it corresponds with the theory of marriage found in Part II to be the best for family and national stability.
