This study presents an index and qualitative analysis of the operations of the National Labor Relations Board in the State of Utah. The period of time under consideration is 1935 to 1965. The major source of information is the first 153 volumes of the Decisions and Orders of the National Labor Relations Board.

The thesis is broken down into four parts. The first covers the evolution of the National Labor Relations Board. It outlines changes in the operations of the board as it developed up to 1964.

The writer of this paper has made an inquiry into the determinants of the spatial differences in the distribution of malnutrition is six states of India, examined its consequences, and has suggested some measures.

In Chapter I, the writer has defined the term malnutrition, recognized the problem and formulated the argument to study this phenomenon.

In 1965 several anthropologists drew up plans for a one-year pilot study of the archeology and ethnohistory of the Wichita Indian tribes. After financial support had been generously provided by the National Science Foundation, the proposed research was carried out. This is a report on the results of that study.

The number of skiers participating in the outdoor recreation activity of skiing has increased tremendously during the past twenty years. With increased amounts of leisure time, improved means of access and mobility, greater real incomes, new technology, and an increased desire to ski, the amount of skiing being done will continue to rise in the future.

Two species of cotton rats, Sigmodon minimus Mearns (least cotton rat) and S. hispidus Baird (hispid cotton rat), occur in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. The northernmost published record-station for S. hispidus is near Scorro, Scorro County ( Bailey, 1931: 167), and that S. minimus is near Isleta, Bernalillo County (Ivey, 1947: 498 and map). When recent field work by the author revealed the presence of both species in the Rio Grande Valley north of these published record-stations the problem arose whether the range extensions were the result of a recent northward extension of the range of the …
