Kings Mountain Baptist Association Minute Books
The 1909 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Cleveland County, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by J.J. Beach. The Second Baptist Church of Shelby and the Church at Flint Hill joined the Association. The Association held a joint session with the Sandy Run Baptist Association. Boiling Springs High School has four literary societies: Kalagathean, Althenian, Minnie Ramsaur, and Kalliergeonian. A library has also been started at the school. The Committee on Obituaries reported the passing of Rev. T. Dixon of New Prospect Church.
