Published as Vol. 1 no. 3 (October 1899) of the Vest-Pocket Series of Christian Tracts, Errett's tract is one example of hundreds of tracts, sermons and books by this title among the Stone-Campbell Movement. Errett, as a long-time editor of Christian Standard (a periodical published by Standard Publishing Company), was a leading thinker and writer among Christian Churches.
