Indian democracy is fast recast as Hindu nationalism which neither honors the country’s constitutional secularity nor upholds its tradition of diversity (religious, cultural, and linguistic), inclusivity, and pluralism. The forged uniformity avowedly seeks to construct the “one” India - one religion (Hindu), one culture (Hindu), and one language (Hindi). Falsely representing a Hinduism under attack from ‘invader’ religions, nationalist ideologues arouse the base emotions of the unsuspecting majoritarian community and stoke their fears against the minorities, particularly Christians. US officials often portray the Chinese government as having few, if any, ethical boundaries in its pursuit of power. This article argues China, like Western countries, has a rich tradition of constraining this pursuit that can impact the nation’s policies. This article explores the modern history of disinformation campaigns and the current state of US military readiness in the face of campaigns from near-peer competitors and proposes education as the best way to prepare US servicemembers to defend against such campaigns.

The prerequisites and limits to this power, however, are altogether unknown. The purpose of the study the study was to address the current level of legal knowledge with a sample of Arkansas public assistant principals. The research sought to determine whether there were relationships between the content areas of the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments and recency of school law training, years of administrative experience, student enrollment, size of community, type of professional development, involvement in school-related litigation, and perceptions of law and policy knowledge. Which strategies contribute towards a belligerent's ability to shift territorial control in its favor more quickly than others? This dissertation advances a theory of territorial control dynamics in conventional civil war that places the civilian population at the center of the analysis. Existing scholarship explaining territorial control in conventional civil war has emphasized the role of relative military capabilities, direct military confrontations aimed at territorial conquest, and the existence of established zones of control, with civilians generally residing in areas clearly dominated by one party or another, not in contested areas. Since the founding of the United States, the U.S. Government has dealt with national security threats, both external and internal. While there are federal laws in place to protect the nation against external actors, these instruments cannot be turned directly inward to address the rising threat of domestic terrorism. This Comment explains the issues with that approach and concludes by proposing specific solutions, focusing on the need for a coordinated response from the agencies and departments tasked with the investigation, intelligence, and prevention of domestic violent extremism and terrorism.

The São Paulo Forum (SPF) is a resilient ideological alliance that provides extremist public policy recommendations to formal political parties, social movements, and insurgent groups throughout the Western Hemisphere. Based on substantial evidence, this research project asserts that the SPF has successfully influenced the national security and defense policies of states in the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. By shaping the perceptions through which decision-makers formulate security policy, strategic culture analysis adds vital context to the perilously difficult science of understanding and predicting state security outputs.
