Cultural studies is a study of culture, the paradigm of which is quite different from that of the conventional (i.e. modern) studies. If we accept this view, it means that the whole problem of cultural reality, epistemology, and methodology cannot be used to understand and investigate cultural studies and multiculturalism. The infeasibility of using conventional study of culture to apprehend cultural studies and multiculturalism is related with the principle of incommensurability between those two fields, so there are different worldviews and rules (language games) between the two. This article examines factory outlet as a cultural phenomenon in Indonesia. It specifically focuses in the shift in FO meanings. Through observation, bibliographic study and critical critique, it is shown that FO has been perceived differently from a place to get "branded products" for the lower middle class in order to increase their social status to a shopping heaven for the upper class

Contemporary postmodern culture is characterized by a diversity of cultural forms, the intensive use of high technology, and the multiple identities of its members. The representation of which can be seen in cultural media as in print and electronic media. This study questions the ideological implications of these media and the construction of identities in contemporary society. The main aim of the paper is the comparison of two archaeological sites, (1) the Eufaula site of McIntosh County, and (2) the Spiro site of Leflore County, Okla. Purpose of the comparison is to indicate the relationship between the 2 sites, thereby establishing a Spiro Focus, the ramifications and general affiliations of which will be suggested.

Oral performance art, patterned performative speech for an audience, is perhaps the oldest and most ubiquitous human art form. Specific instances of this art include the performances of griots and guslars, troubadors and shamans, as well as rappers and riddlers, preachers and politicians. While this art form is by definition oral, it is also the case that, frequently, literary art has represented oral performance art. There is written art which depicts oral art, which describes it, appropriates it, criticizes and co‑opts it.

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the characteristics of credit card holders and the extent of credit card usage, the level of credit card knowledge, and the consumer's choice perspectives. The characteristics of credit card holders studied were (a) gender, (b) age, (c) marital status, (d) education, (e) income, and (f) occupation.
