INTRODUCTION: Patient and arteriovenous malformation (AVM) characteristics that portend success after treatment for low-grade brain AVMs remain unknown.

PATIENTS AND METHODS: We utilised the MISTA multicentre registry to identify patients with Spetzler-Martin (SM) grade I or II AVMs treated with stand-alone curative-intent intervention (resection, stereotactic radiosurgery [SRS] or endovascular embolisation). Bivariate and multivariable analyses were performed to identify patient and AVM characteristics predictive of complete obliteration or favourable outcome (complete obliteration without new permanent deficit or post-treatment haemorrhage).

This study estimated the annual (12-month) cost per patient among patients with RA and its determinant factors. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of multimorbidity among stroke patients in agro-coastal communities. The practice gap was a variation in nurses’ knowledge of validated suicide screening, direct inquiry, risk escalation, referral, and related documentation expectations working in an outpatient behavioral health clinic located on the Eastern Atlantic Coast. To address this problem, I developed, implemented, and evaluated a staff education program on a standardized suicide risk assessment. Background: Age estimation in adults is important in forensic odontology, and radiographic approaches such as the Tooth Coronal Index (TCI) and Kvaal's method are commonly applied to panoramic radiographs. This study aimed to compare the agreement of TCI and Kvaal age estimates with chronological age in adults.

Methods: This cross-sectional analytic study evaluated 100 panoramic radiographs (50 males, 50 females) of adults aged 23–45 years. Measurements were performed on mandibular first premolars using ImageJ. This study aimed to assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding ADR reporting among undergraduate and postgraduate students and practicing dentists.

Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted using a structured, validated 19-item questionnaire covering socio-demographics, knowledge (6 items), attitude (4 items), and practice (5 items), which was distributed both in person and online. Problem: Central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) remain a significant and preventable patient safety concern in acute care settings, contributing to increased morbidity, mortality, prolonged hospitalization, and substantial healthcare costs.

Context: At Hospital A, a tertiary referral center in Northern California, six adult CLABSIs were identified between June and December 2025 following an eight-month CLABSI-free period. Four events occurred in adult medical surgical telemetry. Context: Neurological structures of the somatosensory system provide proprioceptive and neuromuscular input regarding joint positioning to the brain. Lower extremity motor control relies on local proprioceptive input to the central nervous system and neuromuscular control of individual joints to produce coordinated, global responses to external events. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between ankle proprioception and lower extremity muscle reaction time in response to an unexpected ankle inversion perturbation.

Context: Developing athletic training students’ soft skills to effectively engage in patient-centered care is integrated throughout multiple Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education Curricular Content Standards. Despite evidence supporting the importance of compassionate care, there is currently data to suggest that health care is experiencing a compassion crisis.
