We, as seniors, are now rapidly approaching graduation and are beginning to plan our courses of action after receiving our degrees. Several are planning to continue their education in pharmacy or a related field, but for the most part, we will enter the profession at the retail level. Whichever direction we take, let's hope that we can remember the many things which our professors have tried to teach to us, both from a practical and ethical point of view. Perhaps the most important at this time are the ethical standards, for without ethics, we cannot truly call Pharmacy a profession. …

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the basic concepts of physiology stated in a given list could be demonstrated in the nursing care of a selected patient with a diagnosis of myocardial infarction.
The review of literature aided in the following: choice of a given list of basic concepts of physiology important in the care of the patient with an uncomplicated acute myocardial infarction, formulation of criteria for the selection of the patient, setting up of an outline of aspects of nursing which were expected to be necessary in the case of the selected patient, finding …

This Thesis is the result of several months of work done in the Physiology Laboratory in the Marquette University School of Medicine. The experiments performed will enable one to become familiar with the general principles involved in the recording of reactions of muscle and nerve tissue by Kymographic methods. Especial attention is directed to the results of these experiments.

The aim of this essay on the structure and function of the spleen is to bring together in somewhat concise form all the available knowledge concerning this organ up to the present moment. However, time and the difficulty of obtaining valuable articles has limited this essay considerably. The first few pages while not giving a very detailed historical background may be considered quite adequate for the purpose intended. The evolutionary development of the spleen is here considered in broad outline. The microscopic anatomy of the spleen and its function in relation to the blood have been considered in greater detail …
