This study analysed and contextualised research on LAMs (acronym for libraries, archives and museums) funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation under competitive calls for projects from 2010 to 2020. The ultimate intention was to verify the existence or otherwise of a national research agenda on these cultural institutions. The initial search and location of Spanish Ministry-funded projects in official sources was followed by data processing and grouping by subject category. A total of 145 projects were analysed. The study investigated the influence of information literacy skills on infopreneurship intentions of Library and Information Science (LIS) undergraduates in public universities in South-West Nigeria. Two theories supported the study, namely; the theory of planned behaviour and the big six information literacy model. The Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study and the population comprised 668 LIS undergraduates in their final year (400 level) across three public universities in South-West Nigeria. This presentation will describe how one academic library reset their engagement priorities and reconnected with their audience with the use of remote outreach programs. Over the course of one academic year, library staff created, hosted, and assessed more than a dozen asynchronous remote outreach programs for students and faculty, including many who never stepped foot on campus. Attendees will learn how to coordinate efforts within their organization and think outside the box for ways to promote their collections and resources for an online audience.

The Faculty OER Survey Toolkit is a collection of resources to help you with the process of planning and conducting a faculty survey about OER. The resources included in the toolkit are based on the author’s experience conducting a Faculty OER Needs Assessment survey at Gonzaga University in Spring 2022. All of the materials in the toolkit are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license.

The toolkit was created as part of the 2021-2022 SPARC Open Education Leadership Program. While originally intended to be a living resource, it is no longer being maintained.

In this thesis, I examine how two writer-librarians that worked in the 135^th Street Branch of the New York Public Library in the 1920's, Regina Anderson Andrews and Nella Larsen, grappled in their fiction writing with questions of classification, information, and knowledge that encompassed their daily work in the library. I begin by contextualizing the branch within the Harlem Renaissance and Arturo A. Schomburg's call for the preservation of Black history and literature at a time when the field of librarianship was being professionalized by implementing library schools and classification standards. It is referred to as folk knowledge, people's knowledge, traditional science or traditional wisdom. The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). In recent years The Anchor moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. The Anchor is now published in print twice per academic semester. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

Toward A Crip Provenance: Centering Disability In Archives Through Its Absence, Gracen M. Brilmyer

Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies

Using the records that document the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition as a case study, this article discusses the messiness and unknowability of provenance. Drawing attention to how the concept of provenance can emphasize the reconstruction of a fonds when records have been moved, rearranged, and dispersed, this article draws attention to the ‘curative’ and ‘rehabilitative’ orientations of established notions of provenance. Put in conversation with disability studies scholarship, which critiques rehabilitating, curing, and restoring, this article outlines the theoretical scaffolding of a crip provenance: a disability-centered framework of resisting the desire to restore and instead meets records where they are …
