The Social And Political Conflict In Prussia 1858-1864, Eugene N. Anderson

University Studies (University of Nebraska) (1888–1984)

T HE present study developed out of a desire to understand the character of liberalism and conservatism in Prussia on the eve of German unification. Who were the liberals? Who were the Conservatives? What were their ideals and how did they conduct themselves in public? How powerful was each group in the state? In conflict throughout the Nineteenth Century, the opponents reached the peak of their antagonism in the years between 1858 and 1866, the the years of the New Era, the constitutional conflict, and the first two wars of German unification. A History Of Hat Creek Presbyterian Church, 1742-1953, Sydnor Franklin Foster Jul 1954

A History Of Hat Creek Presbyterian Church, 1742-1953, Sydnor Franklin Foster

Master's Theses

All the records of the early history of Hat Creek were destroyed in a very unfortunate fire in 1854. The first two volumes of the present records are kept in storage at the Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. The third volume, covering the period from 1902 to 194o, will probably be sent there for safe storage in the very near future. Em ploying every available source, the writer has attempted to give a chronological account of the events surrounding Hat Creek from ifs founding in 1742, through the end of 1953.
