The Northwest Corner Of Heaven: A History Of Cascade College, Gary L. Tandy
The Northwest Corner Of Heaven: A History Of Cascade College, Gary L. Tandy
Faculty Publications - Department of English

As one of the “pioneer” faculty members, I was encouraged by the support expressed for the college by the church …

ETSU Today [magazine]
Dear Alumni and Friends, The business of higher education is changing in Tennessee. At ETSU, we are working diligently to reduce costs, to re-evaluate priorities, and to make sound decisions for our students, for our employees, and for all those we serve. When your family has to make hard choices, you probably sit down at the kitchen table to discuss with everyone the difficult decision or the financial situation that exists, any possible actions, and the best directions for the family. At ETSU, we have taken the same approach in addressing difficult times. With State of Tennessee sales tax revenues …
The Effects Of Parental Upbringing On Collegiate Sexual Activity, Courtney Watson
The Effects Of Parental Upbringing On Collegiate Sexual Activity, Courtney Watson
XULAneXUS
The present research examined the effects of parental openness and support on the sexual activity of college students. The effects of parental reaction to collegiate sexual activity were also examined. It was hypothesized that students with supportive and open parents would engage in sexually responsible behavior. On the other hand, students with parents who were not open and unsupportive were expected to describe a negative parental reaction to their sexual histories. Although the study found no significant effects in relation to sexual activity, results indicated significant effects of parental openness on parental reaction. Further research is needed to examine a …
