The Efficiency Of Laboratory Work In Geography, Fred Edwards
The Efficiency Of Laboratory Work In Geography, Fred Edwards
Masters Theses & Specialist Projects
Great sums of money are expended annually for the upkeep and equipment of laboratories that are used only for teaching, and yet there is little in the way of experimental data to indicate whether the expenditure of time or money is justified.

A Geographic Interpretation Of The Agricultural Regions Of Ohio, Margaret Elizabeth Stevens
Honors Papers
The purpose of this thesis is to divide the state of Ohio into agricultural regions, and, so delimited, to describe and interpret these regions in a geographic manner. The basis of division is the use of the land for varying agricultural purposes. These variables are expressed my means of isopleth maps showing acreage percentages of land use. Factors of the natural environment, such as soil, bedrock, climate, topography, and drainage, aid in the interpretation of these regions.

The Geography Of Marlboro Town, Vermont, Ethel A. Frank
Honors Papers
Green, forest-covered mountains and hills, winding valleys with farmhouses surrounded by boulder strewn hayfields, cattle scattered upon the rocky slopes and in woodland pastures, boulder laden streams- this is the picture which Marlboro Town, in Windham County, Vermont conveys to one who surveys its landscape from any hilltop site. It is a typical New England town, located in southeastern Vermont, in the midst of the Green Mountains.
Physiographically Marlboro Town is located in the "Appalachian Highland Division in the New England Province, and the Green Mountain Section, which consists of linear ranges of old subdued mountains", long and severely deformed, …
