Teaching Citizenship In The Grades, Catherine U. Hogan
Bachelors’ Theses
Within the last twenty years, the aims and methods of teaching citizenship have changed very materially Formerly, a knowledge of the facts of government was deemed sufficient to make a good citizen, but recent history of men in high offices has proven that such is not the case.

Yearbooks 1920-1929
The yearbook of the Class of 1929 of Kutztown State Teachers' College, now Kutztown University, in Kutztown, PA. The name of the institution was changed in 1928 from the Keystone State Normal School to Kutztown State Teachers' College to reflect that teacher certification now required students to complete a four-year program, resultng in a Bachelor's degree, instead of the 2 or 3 year programs that were offered by the Normal School.

Nutrition Of The Elementary School Child, Lucy I. Welch
Nutrition Of The Elementary School Child, Lucy I. Welch
Bachelors’ Theses
Realizing how this greatest of all national resources has been squandered, the people of today are aroused to the need of conservation of the race. They realize that the future of the country depends on the strength and vigor of the children of today. This realization, that the child must have a body, "as splendid as a king's castle -- with food that serves his needs, with play and rest and the habits which shall safeguard him through life," (2) is the chief reason for the development of the health and nutrition work.
