What the best people want for their children, America wants for all of its chiIdren. That has become a popular statement. But in the final analysis, what is it that we want for our children? I may answer that question in part. We want culture. We want our children to be refined.

Book Selection For A Teachers College Library, Robert E. Mcconnell
Book Selection For A Teachers College Library, Robert E. Mcconnell
All Faculty Scholarship for the College of Education and Professional Studies
The selection of books and the distribution of library funds are considerations which call for the continuous attention of the college administrator. This is especially so in the case of teachers colleges because they are of recent development and are limited as to funds. Both time and money are essential to the building up of a library of quality and quantity. As compared with the well established liberal arts college, teachers colleges are at a disadvantage in that the former existed fifty years before the latter.

A Comparison Of Teachers' Marks In One-Room & Two-Room Schools With Those In The Seventh, Eighth & Ninth Grades In Larger Schools, Orbrie Morris
Masters Theses & Specialist Projects
In this study the records examined showed that the per capita cost of instruction in the one-room and the two-room schools varied from three to six times that of the larger schools. The one-room school is the most expensive means of education, yet it offers far fewer advantages and opportunities. The decline in the number of these schools has been in progress for a number of years. This has been true in the rural sections that have a larger number of improved roads. The lack of sufficient roads has seemed to be the greatest obstacle in the consolidation of schools. …

The aim of this thesis is to discuss the importance of music in Education and Recreation. In the first chapter is discussed the importance of music in education. The next chapter will present the values and contributions of music, and its place in the curriculum. Chapter III will show the importance of a musical education to children in the public schools. Remedial Handwriting In The Seventh Grade, Rosella A. Brogan
Bachelors’ Theses
Writing at one time was considered merely a fine art and was used very little in the way of practical demand, but with the development of commerce, handwriting became the medium of communication and the ability to write legibly and with reasonable speed became an important aspect to the business world as well as a valuable asset to the individual.
