International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

Femoroacetabular impingement is a common cause of hip pain in adolescents. Compared with the pincer-type, the incidence of cam-type is more common in asymptomatic adolescent patients. At present, there is much research on the treatment of FAI by arthroscopic surgery, and it has been shown that it has a positive intervention effect. However, there is little research on therapeutic exercise and a lack of normative understanding. The purpose of this review is to provide clues and ideas for the treatment of adolescents with cam FAI by summarizing the research results of therapeutic exercise management of FAI. We searched the articles …

International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

High-load resistance training is a common method for developing power, but it may interfere with adolescents' bone development, increasing the risk of epiphyseal injuries and compensatory movements. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate alternative training methods that can enhance power development while safeguarding bone health. One promising approach is unstable surface training (UST), which enhances neuromuscular coordination and core stability while reducing joint stress. Although UST has demonstrated potential benefits in other areas, its effectiveness in improving power remains unclear. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the impact of UST on power development in adolescents and identify the optimal training …

A140: Kinetic Comparison Of Weightlifting Pulling Derivatives With Different Starting Positions, Junhao Chen, Junlin Tian, Songgula Jumaali, Yuduo Liu, Xianglin Wan

International Journal of Physical Activity and Health

Weightlifting movements have been shown to provide a superior training stimulus for force and power development. Among these, Weightlifting pulling derivatives (WPDs) without the catch phase may generate superior kinetic stimulation compared to the full weightlifting movements. Previous studies have confirmed that the starting position significantly affects the peak vertical ground reaction forces (Fz), peak rate of force development (RFD), and peak power of the weightlifting derivatives with the catch phase. However, the influence of starting position on WPDs is still unclear. Therefore, this study aims to compare the kinetic performance differences of WPDs with different starting positions to optimize …

A Model For Artificial Intelligence (Ai) Literacy Education: Reflections On Teaching Graduate-Level Teacher Education Courses, Hyunjin Jinna Kim

International Journal of Transformative Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

This practice-oriented self-study examines the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) literacy education model grounded in my reflective teaching practices and journey in graduate-level teacher education courses. As AI tools become increasingly embedded in educational and everyday technologies, both teachers and learners often remain unaware of the algorithms, data ethics, and biases that shape AI-driven systems (Ghallab, 2019; Ng et al., 2022). Recognizing that many teachers and teacher candidates responsible for educating the next generation have a minimal understanding of AI tools’ limitations and the ethical risks involved in AI use, I drew on my own experiences and knowledge as …

Report On A Self-Directed Pilot Study (For Researchers), Yoshihiko Ariizumi

Spiritual Proficiency

Strategic Self-Regulation for Spiritual and Cognitive Enhancement

This pilot study investigates the impact of structured spiritual interventions on cognitive processing and emotional regulation. By integrating meta-cognitive tools—such as narrative accountability, systematic scripture application, and "mental toggles" via hymns—the research demonstrates a significant acceleration in learning efficiency and a reduction in emotional recovery time. The findings suggest that spiritual experiences are not merely random occurrences but "probability-controllable phenomena" that can be systematically cultivated through intentional environmental settings and habitual reflection.
