Does Green Pay Less? Global Corporate Bond Evidence On Primary And Secondary Yields, Youssef El Kenawy

The greenium, or green premium, refers to the lower yield that arises from a bond’s green label, conditional on otherwise identical contractual features and credit risk. In our study, we estimate the greenium by combining causal matching techniques with a neural network–based propensity score approach to construct a closely comparable set of green and conventional bonds. Our empirical framework incorporates issuer fixed effects and currency × issuance-year fixed effects, ensuring that our estimates reflect the impact of the green label itself rather than differences in macro-financial conditions or issuer composition.

Brand misconduct can trigger negative consumer responses and escalate into brand crises. Effective crisis management is therefore essential to mitigate such responses and enhance organisational resilience. This study investigates the impact of various crisis communication strategies on consumer engagement and subsequent brand cancellation, incorporating the mediating role of consumer engagement and the moderating influence of brand misconduct type. Two experimental studies using simple random sampling were conducted online. The findings reveal that crisis communication strategies exert significantly different effects on consumer engagement, which in turn negatively influences brand cancellation. This study examines volatility dynamics between the U.S. public real estate stock market and the broader equity market, with a focus on sectoral conditional volatility sensitivity to market conditional volatility across different volatility regimes. Using daily stock price data from  to , conditional volatilities of real estate stocks and the market index are estimated through a GARCH-framework that incorporates Monday and Friday dummy variables in both the conditional mean and conditional variance equations as controls for calendar-based anomalies. Abstract: This paper offers a conceptual discussion of how mindfulness, understood as present moment awareness and deliberate attention regulation, can support cybersecurity professionals. Drawing on a narrative synthesis of workplace mindfulness, burnout, and high pressure decision making literature, we map plausible self regulation mechanisms to typical cyber defense tasks. Rather than presenting new empirical data, we develop an explanatory framework linking attention, reactivity, and recovery to decision quality, team communication, and adherence to incident playbooks. The Domain Name System (DNS) remains a critical attack vector exploited by adversaries for command-and-control (C2) communication, data exfiltration, and phishing campaigns. DNS Response Policy Zones (RPZ) have emerged as an effective defense mechanism by enabling the redirection or blocking of queries to malicious domains. Prior to the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, access to safe legal abortions was limited and often restricted along racial, economic, and geographic lines. Nearly fifty years later, women’s health policy evolved again following the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision overturning Roe v. Wade. This court ruling decimated federal protections of abortion. This study analyzes cyberattack trends targeting non-profit organizations using longitudinal data collected over a three-year period within the Non-Profit Cybersecurity Incident Repository (NPCIR). Developed through a National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (NSA CAE-CD) designated center, the NPCIR applies an open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodology to systematically document cybersecurity incidents affecting the global non-profit sector. This study examines attack types, threat actor characteristics, sectoral distribution, and cybersecurity impacts using the Confidentiality–Integrity–Availability (CIA) triad framework. The results indicate that availability-related incidents, particularly ransomware and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, constitute the most prevalent threats, while confidentiality breaches remain highly …

Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly used for travel planning. Yet, little is known about how travellers experience and interact with such language models. This qualitative study explores how users employ LLMs to plan trips, drawing on the hedonic/pragmatic model of user experience to examine functional and affective dimensions. We collected data from 104 participants with prior experience using LLMs for travel advice through open-ended questionnaire responses. Thematic analysis revealed three key insights: (1) users value the pragmatic benefits of LLMs, such as efficiency, clarity, and confidence in decision-making, while also appreciating hedonic qualities, including inspiration, enjoyment, and authenticity; (2) …

Foundations' Deep begins with a structure located in Helena, Montana 59602, a building that sits uneasily within the categories it has been asked to meet. Built in the early twentieth century, it has persisted through alteration, abandonment, and use. What remains is not a stable artifact but a record of accumulated decisions, some careful and many indifferent, now embedded in the fabric of the building itself.

Year after year, the topic of immigration features centrally in US public policy discussions and debates. This focus is not surprising, given that the US is home to more immigrants than any other country in the world.
