The Influence Of The Lockian Empiricism On The Theology Of Alexander Campbell, William J. Moore Jan 1935

The Influence Of The Lockian Empiricism On The Theology Of Alexander Campbell, William J. Moore

Backgrounds Of Foreign Affairs In American Pre-War Thought Magazines, Thomas E. Moore

Bachelors’ Theses

I intended in this thesis to examine the background in international relations and foreign affairs which the five journals of opinion of my choice were furnishing to their subscribers, particularly those newspapermen and editors who read these journals for information with which to provide in turn their own readers and for use in the formulation of their own foreign policy and attitude toward international affairs.

I was particularly curious, in view of what great catastrophe was about to descend upon the world in those days, to determine by an examination of the magazine files, specifically what informational material was being …

Four Fundamental Factors In The Instability Of The American Home, Harold Joseph Miller Jan 1935

Four Fundamental Factors In The Instability Of The American Home, Harold Joseph Miller

University of the Pacific Theses and Dissertations

The family may be defined as a group of interacting personalities of neer tie or blood-kin; namely, husband, wife, children, and may include grand parents. The origin of the family is not clear, since we find marriage in a rather highly developed form among the most primitive tribes. Perhaps monogamy, the union of one man and one woman, is the most prevalent fore of marriage, not only in the United States but among all peoples and in all ages. Polygyny, the union of one man with several …
