ملخص:

تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على عملية التحفيز وعلاقتها بالالتزام التنظيمي لدى مؤسسة الشرطة الفلسطينية بقطاع غزة "دراسة ميدانية"، والتعرف على إدراك الموظفين فيها لمفاهيم التحفيز والالتزام التنظيمي، والمساهمة في تغيير واقع من خلال زيادة فاعلية وكفاءة مؤسسة الشرطة. وقد استخدم الباحثون المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث اشتمل مجتمع الدراسة على جميع الموظفين العاملين في مراكز وإدارات الشرطة بقطاع غزة على اختلاف مسمياتهم الوظيفية، ولكبر حجم مجتمع الدراسة الذي بلغ 8132 شرطياً وضابط شرطة ، تم اختيار عينة طبقية عشوائية لتمثيله. ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة:

The study sought to explore the quality of the information circulated in social media platforms and the responsiveness of the government decision makers to using such platforms. Descriptive and analytical tools were utilized to handle and process the information collected from the published sources as well as using a questionnaire survey designed specifically for this study. A total of 187 public sector top-level managers in 19 Jordanian government agencies have participated in the survey. This manuscript advances prior research (Blau, 1964; Elangovan & Xie, 1999; French & Raven, 1959; Goodstadt & Hjelle, 1973; Hegtvedt, 1988; Randolph & Kemery, 2011; Zigarmi, Peyton Roberts, & Randolph, 2015) and capitalizes on supervisory skills using power dynamics within the workplace, by investigating employee effort resulting from gender dissimilar supervisor-employee dyads and employee locus of control. To offer a more focused approach, this is an evaluation specifically on reward and coercive power derived from French and Raven’s (1959) five power bases. The study aimed at identifying the impact of electronic control on the level of employees’ performance in Jordanian government financing institutions. the researchers surveyed all 7 government financing institutions. A questionnaire which includes (34) paragraphs to collect data was desgined the sample consisted of 113 employees. Analysis of the effect of control dimensions (Inputs, operations, employee’s behavior) on employees’ performance were analyzed using the statistical package of social sciences (SPSS).

In turbulent economic times, tuition-driven universities often search for impactful ways to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Differentiators may be particularly important in MBA programs, which are among the more lucrative academic offerings. The present study tracked participant reflections from the coaching component of an MBA leadership certificate program through Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle (concrete experience, reflections, abstract conceptualizations, active experimentation) and the coaches’ roles during the cycle as educators. In my dissertation, I explore how managerial attributes affect corporate policies.

In my first essay, I examine the effects of public firm CEOs’ prior private equity (PE) target experiences on corporate policies. Based on difference-in-differences and propensity score matching analyses, public firm CEOs previously serving as CEOs in PE targets reduce investment by about 15 percent while enhancing patent values by over 7 percent after taking office compared to CEOs without such experiences. The effects are stronger if these CEOs (1) worked in targets invested by more reputable PE firms, (2) worked in targets invested by PE firms known for …

Audit Firms’ Response To Audit Failures: Evidence From Partner Resource Reallocation, Elizabeth Cowle

I investigate whether audit firms reallocate partner resources following restatement announcements and, consequently, whether a supply-side response is beneficial in mitigating the previously documented implications of realized audit failures. I find a positive association between prior period restatement announcements and the year-over-year percentage change in the number of engagement partners allocated to a local audit office. Further analysis suggests that a supply-side response is beneficial in mitigating the persistence of low-quality audits and lost market share. However, I also find some evidence suggesting that the reallocation of partner resources can be detrimental to audit quality at offices from which partners …
