Iceland is one of the leading countries in gender equality, but women are still underrepresented in the field of entrepreneurship. Women have unique approaches to land stewardship, and there is evidence that they are more likely than men to act sustainably. The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation between sustainability and connection to place in women-run, local businesses. I interviewed six women who run a wide range of businesses in the towns of Ísafjörður and Djúpivogur. Electronic medical record systems (EMRs) were quickly adopted by ambulatory care practices due to federal government programs encouraging their rapid adoption and implementation. The accelerated implementation and adoption of these digital care systems introduced new forms of administrative burdens that have become negatively associated with the practice of medicine. Research regarding the challenges related to implementing and adopting EMR systems has been abundant. However, there is little research on EMR optimization strategies within ambulatory practice settings. Transparency on ESG (environmental, social, and governance) is an important, if imperfect, step in striving for sustainability. Because a constellation of nonprofit organizations created voluntary reporting frameworks with little government involvement, ESG reporting governance is institutionally dense and fragmented. Reporting companies and information users have both expressed dissatisfaction. In 2020, standard-setting organizations indicated their intent to cooperate to simplify ESG reporting rules. In a different yet similar context, scholars utilize regime theory to understand institutional density and the potential for international cooperation, primarily among states. This non-experimental, quantitative study examined employee retention in rotational molding plastic manufacturing organizations by surveying machine operators and finishers in the industry. The researcher distributed a 30-question Likert survey in English and Spanish in rotational molding plastic manufacturing organizations across the United States to determine the factors that contribute to employee retention. This research study examined employee culture, job satisfaction, motivation, nature of work, and self-sacrifice as factors that contribute to employee retention in the rotational molding plastic manufacturing industry. The lack of predictability of renewable outputs deteriorates the power grid’s reliability. The power system operators have recognized this need to account for uncertainty in making operational decisions and forming electricity pricing. Purpose – This study aims to explore how entrepreneurial firms’ networking logics may change under different types of perceived uncertainty. The arrival of new knowledge from the entrepreneurial firm’s network may alter the perceived technology and market uncertainty that in turn determines how the firm adopts or combines the two opposing logics of causation and effectuation. Focusing on the roles of external advisors recruited by the firms, the study probes the details of the cyclical process and the mechanism through which networking logics are altered.

This study examines various factors or characteristics (risk and non-risk) that determine a firm’s credit risk premium, as measured by its credit default swap (CDS) spread, with a particular focus on the impact of environment, social, and governance (ESG) scores. The framework employed is a general equilibrium asset pricing model which integrates classical and behavioral finance elements, known as popularity-based asset pricing. It treats all attributes or characteristics of an asset as ”factors” to which investors assign a degree of popularity, which changes over time.
