This plan analyzes how the Shenandoah Valley Partnership can grow and enhance its food and beverage manufacturing industry. To answer this question, I interviewed and surveyed food and beverage manufacturers to understand their business needs, as well as interviewed service providers to identify their relationships with this industry. The four main results from the plan were:

A Profile Of Advanced Manufacturing In Northeast Ohio, Iryna Demko

Advanced manufacturing industries represent technology-intensive manufacturing of a fundamental importance to the economic strength and national security of the United States. In 2017, advanced manufacturing industries in Northeast Ohio contributed over half of the manufacturing output and employed 42% of the region’s manufacturing workforce. On average, advanced manufacturing industries paid 26% higher wages than other manufacturing industries. Manufacturing companies striving to achieve new levels of output and keep pace with global competition should increasingly turn to one of their most important assets—people—to drive further growth.

This report presents a series of marketing and economic development strategies for the central business district in Chicopee Center known as the Market Square area. The City of Chicopee, along with the cities of Holyoke and Springfield, is part of the urban center of the Pioneer Valley region. This report was done in six parts: a history and background analysis of New Bedford, Massachusetts, and market research was carried out to understand local tourism efforts and visitors profiles.
