School District Enrollment Forecast Reports

This report presents a range of three scenarios of district‐wide enrollment forecasts by grade level for the Gresham‐Barlow School District (GBSD) for the 10 year period between 2016‐17 and 2025‐26. Each enrollment forecast scenario is related to population forecasts that incorporate different assumptions about growth within the District, with the primary differences being the contribution of net migration to the District’s population and age distribution. Individual school forecasts consistent with the middle range scenario are also presented for the 10 year period.

Since 1997-98, Reynolds School District (RSD) overall K-12 enrollment has increased by 28 percent, from 8,452 students in 1997-98 to 10,815 in 2007-08, with most of the growth occurring between 1998-99 and 2003-04. After one year with little enrollment change (2004-05), the district has added 452 students in the most recent three years. School District Enrollment Forecast Reports

This report represents results of a demographic study conducted by the Population Research Center (PRC) to address the long-range planning needs of the Gresham-Barlow School District 10J (GBSD). The long term District wide forecast was developed using patterns of migration, fertility and mortality that are most likely to occur between school years 2006 and 2015. In addition to the most likely scenario, or the medium growth forecast, two other scenarios--for higher and lower growth trends--were derived. Forecasts by grade for individual schoolsand school attendance areas were also prepared; these forecasts relied on the District wide medium growth scenario.

This report presents the results of a study conducted by the Population Research Center (PRC) to address the long-range planning needs of the Gresham-Barlow School District (“District”). It provides annual enrollment projections by grade for the District's eleven elementary and five middle school attendance areas from 2006 to 2015.
