Nebraska is a state that is not often viewed as affected significantly by mobility and migration. As a state, the net migration rate of 1.1 from 2015 to 2016 is fairly low compared to others like Florida (16.0) or Nevada (14.4). However, data from this report suggests that there is, in fact, substantial movement of people moving in and moving out; as well as pockets within the state where there is higher than average influx of both domestic and international migrants.

This paper presents the results of ethnographic research conducted with several environmental justice (EJ) organisations in Latino communities of Los Angeles, California. Traditional EJ politics revolves around research and advocacy to reduce discriminatory environmental exposures, risks, and impacts. These differences in perception have led to a game plan tied to spatio-temporal diurnal traffic regimes. Libya, which is well over 80% urban, is placed in the upper echelons of the most urbanized countries in the world as the majority of its citizens now live in urban areas of different sizes and functions. However, when rapid urban growth trends were examined more closely, serious problems come to the fore, depicting key challenges to the sustainability of both urban landscapes and elements of the natural environment. Specifically, unregulated urban growth and the proliferation of scattered housing in the urban fringe areas of many cities have resulted in land use conflicts and serious ecological problems.

Why did newly freed slaves and their descendants wait a half a century before migrating in large numbers to the superior economic opportunities in the North? Census lifetime migration data on both movers and stayers are examined intertemporally for both whites and blacks. Regression analysis reveals that before 1920 Southern blacks had a very strong affinity for the "Southern way of life."

This paper discusses the annual Elvis Revival Festival in the small town of Parkes, 350 km to the west of Sydney, in rural Australia. It explores the way in which a remote place with few economic prospects has created a tourism product, and subsequently captured national publicity, through a festival based around commemoration of the birthday of Elvis Presley, a performer who had never visited Australia, and certainly not Parkes.
