The purpose of this project is to examine the effects of "The Children's Exposure to Domestic Violence Scale" (CEDV) on an adolescent's own externalizing behaviors. Although internalizing behaviors such as depression are prevalent among children exposed to violence, this study will only focus on externalizing behaviors including their own risks for aggressive behavior.

The Impact Of Early Intervention On Child Welfare Cases, Demetra Ann Vaughan

The purpose of this study was to explore and assess the impact of early intervention programs on child welfare cases, in particular, Southern California Child Welfare Agency (SCCWA) emergency response cases. With changes in child abuse laws and an increase in the number of children being placed in out-of home care, SCCWA is under pressure to develop and implement programs that focus on three priority outcomes: improve permanence, improve safety, and reduce the number of children being removed from their home.
