Utilizing The Radsm Process: Developing An Unobtrusive Measure Of Cohesion, Zachary Lee Rahner

In this study, verbal indicators produced following the RADSM process were used to code transcript data collected from 62 three-person teams playing a cooperative bridge crew simulator. A training dataset, consisting of 88 mission transcripts, and a testing dataset, consisting of 39 mission transcripts, were created from the data. Multilevel modeling was employed to develop a linear-regression algorithm to predict/measure team task and social cohesion. The findings revealed that task cohesion perceptions are linked to the proportion of speech dedicated to information requests and instructions, whereas social cohesion perceptions are associated with the proportion of speech dedicated to amusing and …

Stress in the workplace, especially for the military, has been a problem for decades. Between workplace stress, prolonged wars, and now a global pandemic, a need has arisen to find ways to ensure that increased stress does not lead to a decrease in mental health that could affect national security. The purpose of the study was to examine perceived selectivity as a moderator of cohesion and resilience in United States Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal (USAF EOD) operators. Integration Experiences Of Former Afghan Refugees In Australia: What Challenges Have Still Remained After Being Citizens?, Omid Rezaei, Hossein Adibi, Vicki Banham

This paper explores, analyses, and documents the experiences of Afghan-Australians who arrived in Australia as refugees and were granted citizenship after living in Australia for several years. This research adopted a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative approaches and surveyed 102 people, interviewed 13 participants, and conducted two focus-groups within its research design. Analysis of data indicates that former Afghan refugees gradually settled down and integrated within Australian society. They value safety and security, open democracy and orderly society of Australia, as well as accessing to education and healthcare services and opportunity for social mobility.
