The purpose of the independent study of pediatric Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is to aid in the treatment of young individuals suffering from these disturbing behavioral disorders. Although AD/HD in the past was not credited as a true behavioral disorder, researchers have continued to learn more about this illness and how it is affecting our adolescents. Studies have also shown that adults diagnosed with AD/HD most likely suffered from similar symptoms as a child.
