The Maternal Attachment Inventory - Revised (MAI-R) developed by Mary Mùˆller in 1994, was used to examine attachment qualities between mothers and children enrolled in an Early Head Start program. Each mother's ratings of her attachment to her child was compared to teachers' perceptions of the mother's attachment to her child.
