Are You A Perfectionist And Does It Matter? Depression And Perfectionism In Australian University Students, Maryke Mead, Richard Hicks

This study examined the relationships that exist between depression and adaptive and maladaptive perfectionism among university students. There has been earlier evidence that depression in a general population is related to maladaptive perfectionism, but first, would this be the case among university students and second, would adaptive perfectionism be related positively to wellbeing (i.e., be related negatively to depression). This current study examined these questions in a sample of 215 university students across three Australian states.
