The article discusses the role of metaphorical interpretation in the nomination process and the theory of nomination in general, the essence of the approximation nomination and the metaphor involved in this process is also described. Approximators are mainly adapted for artistic speech, in which the author demonstrates individual speech and the perception of the world accordingly. On the basis of the category of clarity / uncertainty, it refers to the basic features used to convey to the reader his views, opinions, and reflections, and expresses parts of the conceptual world of this author.

In the article, zoomorphic metaphors in the poetry of the famous Uzbek poet Shavkat Rahmon are analyzed in linguistic, as well as linguocultural aspects, the zoomorphic metaphors used in poetry poems are classified by thematic groups, and zoomorphic metaphors such as dogs, birds, storks, ravens have been extensively studied on the basis of material.

The article investigates some lexical-semantic and linguistic-poetic peculiarities of one of the important written sources of the XIVth century “Gulistony bit-turkiy” by Sayfie Saroyi. It should be noted that the linguistic features of this written source, which plays an important role in the history of the Uzbek literary language, the contribution of the talented poet and translator Sayfi Sarayi in the development of the Uzbek literary language have hardly been studied in Uzbek linguistics. The study of the poet's work in various aspects is important not only for Uzbek linguistics, but also for Turkology.
