This research work investigates the availability and accessibility of health information by rural women in Elemere communities of moro local government, Kwara state. Questionnaire and interviews are major instruments used for data collection which was done by examining relevant documents to obtain necessary information 10 set of questionnaire were administered to health workers and health information providers in which all the 10 questionnaires were retrieved. Interviews were conducted on forty (40) rural women. the study selects reconnaissance survey for its design. This chapter presents a case study where a Health Sciences Librarian and an Exercise Physiology Professor at an R1 University transformed two library instruction sessions into one graded online assignment. Successful student outcomes proved the asynchronous online method worth continuing for future courses regardless of class format.

The typical instruction methods and experimental modifications made to accommodate remote learning demanded by the COVID-19 pandemic and online course sections will be presented in this chapter. This lightning talk will provide an overview of two projects faculty librarians undertook in response to the emerging information literacy needs of various stakeholders at Rowan University. The two projects include: a Covid-19 and misinformation online guide and a Covid-19 online research-focused guide for healthcare practitioners.

While these projects were created for different University populations with distinct informational needs (teachers, students, the general public, medical practitioners/researchers), a common theme across these projects was librarians quickly filling information gaps in response to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
