Purpose: The paper examined and discussed the impact of Nigerian Library Association (NLA) conference attendance on the professional development of librarians in Nigeria. Design/methodology/approach: To capture the salient points relating to the study, data was collected using the tool of questionnaire. A total of 200 self-administered copies of questionnaire were shared among attendees of the 48th National Conference/AGM of the Nigerian Library Association held at International Conference Centre Abuja, from 18th – 23rd July 2010 conference.
