The article provides a checklist of routine library maintenance, emergency procedures and a recommended schedules for accomplishing the tasks. It stresses the responsibility of all library staff to maintain a safe and clean facility. Library administrators are advised to devote as much time to planning for maintenance chores. Identifying objectives and budgeting are part of the planning process. The policy of the Sno-Isle Libraries regarding maintenance of library facilities is presented.
